they should be able to receive federal funding, but it is only when necessary and they would have to abide by federal law to get it

 @LennenMad  from Texas  answered…10mos10MO

No, these cities should be treated as embassies of the nationalities residing there, thus they require no funding from our federal government.

It should be a choice on ballots if someone wants their taxes to be used to fund sanctuary cities

 @95QNTP2Libertarian from Texas  answered…3yrs3Y

No, sanctuary cities are good however, dependence on the government should be reduced

 @9574FK6 from Texas  answered…3yrs3Y

Yes, If what they need the money for is a pressing issue. But opportunities should be presented not just money thrown at them.

Yes, but only if such a system should be coupled with a much larger path to citizenship program.

Yes, but only a little funding, and use the funding to help people gain legal citizenship

 @8XVMVXPIndependent from Texas  answered…3yrs3Y

Federal funding could invite federal regulations. This issue needs to remain on a municipal level.

 @8VFPHLVLibertarian from Texas  answered…4yrs4Y

No, but they should also be able to opt out of federal taxes if funding is cut.

 @8TZ2DQR from Texas  answered…4yrs4Y

 @8TYHGQ6 from Texas  answered…4yrs4Y

Yes, but funding should be split between the federal government and either the city, county, or state instead and reforms should be put in place to ensure that what happened to Kate Steinle doesn't happen again while still protecting law-abiding illegal immigrants from deportation.

 @8TNLYVR from Texas  answered…4yrs4Y

Yes just like any cities but sanctuary cities should not receive more money then ant other cities

 @8PR397M from Texas  answered…4yrs4Y

There should be no sanctuary cities. Immigration policy should reflect all states and cities within the United States of America. If we have the ecosystem in place by which most Americans can grow their own vegetables, and not rely on what's available in grocery stores during plandemics, then we can handle vast multitudes of people coming into our Country, but without that infrastructure only burdens our existing economy. Many nations wanting to free up their own economy send their multitudes to Europe and America so that our economy is devastated, this has to stop, that is until such time as we can support them.

They should receive the same amount of federal funding that any other city receives.

Sanctuary cities should not receive federal funding and they should be charged with aiding and abetting criminals.

 @8G564NQ from Texas  answered…5yrs5Y

Nowhere should receive “federal funding” because it’s just stolen funds being funneled back. The federal government needs to fund a national defense, and not really anything else. That money should’ve never left the states/individuals and been with the feds anyway.

I don’t support the concept of sanctuary cities, but funding should not be withheld because of it. That’s nothing but political extortion.

 @8D29Z2F from Texas  answered…5yrs5Y

Yes, use sanctuary cities as a way to acclimate immigrants to American society while they aquire a path to citizenship.

Depends unless those cities are already existing cities with many American citizens already living there (cutting off federal funding to those cities would basically leave those citizens high and dry)

 @9867L8X from Texas  answered…2yrs2Y

No ban santuary cities and make rural areas santuary zones for illegal immigrants

The Bible talks about cities of refuge in cases of accidental death.

I only believe in sanctuary cities for those convicted of involuntary manslaughter
