No, I would respect them more if they where honest with fraud but it shouldn't be required and is personal. It won't effect their ability as in office.

No, it is not the government's responsibility to enforce this. I would respect candidates who did release their returns, but they shouldn't be required to.

Yes, and require a public audit each year they are in office. This should go beyond recent tax returns. Essentially to run for public office, the public should have access to any records or information they would like to request. FOIA should expand to allow access to so-called private records of public servants.
