Yes, but only for individuals not convicted of violent crimes such as murder, SA, rape, assault but only after completion of sentence, parole, and a timeframe of no continued criminial misconduct such as 3 years of clean record as a contributing citizen.

 @9VSHBKZ from California  answered…8mos8MO

I don’t think woman and the lgbtq shouldn’t be aloud to vote. I also think there should be some sort of competent

 @9TMWJ8B from California  answered…9mos9MO

Yes but only after completing their sentence, but No to felons convicted of murder or violent crimes

 @9T33KQC from California  answered…9mos9MO

it depends on the what they were charged with. I especially believe Pedophiles/Hard evidence convicted Rapists indefinitely should not have the right to vote.

 @9R7R9HGRepublican from California  answered…11mos11MO

Yes unless serving a prison or parole sentence for a felony conviction. Misdemeanors and felony probationers should be allowed to vote.

 @9LLGHLW from California  answered…1yr1Y

Yes, regardless of what they are convicted of they should pass a psychological test to ensure they are mentally stable to decide future leaders.

 @9KCXLFG from California  answered…1yr1Y

I don't think all convicted criminals can be put into one group but I do think people who have been observed and want to participate in society again should be allowed to vote. Not the ones who put citizens in jeopardy to begin with.

 @9JT6TD8 from California  answered…1yr1Y

Depends. my only fear is incentivising them by promising them shorter sentences or better living conditions

 @9JRRKL8 from California  answered…1yr1Y

Criminals like serial killers/murders, rapists, child predators, and similar criminals of all race/ethnicity and gender should not have the right to vote.

 @9JBZLDBPeace and Freedom from California  answered…1yr1Y

Yes, but only 4 years after being released for felons, as long as no other crimes are committed in the meantime. Misdemeanors will have 6 months instead of 4 years.

 @9J5VSBD from California  answered…1yr1Y

I believe that if the convicted criminal is released from their sentence and has completed their parole, they should be able to vote a few years after said release; maybe a year or so.

 @9GVJ563Democrat from California  answered…2yrs2Y

Yes, but after completing their sentence, parole/probation, and showing promise/well rehabilitated into society.

 @9GK56JGIndependence from California  answered…2yrs2Y

everyone deserves a chance unless they killed people or hurt them. if they are convicted of something, they should be allowed to vote after do rehab, time in prison etc. but at the same time, why should we let people who hurt others even vote? they chose to do that. they should have their rights revoked.

convicted criminals should have the right to vote once they have proved that they have turned completely away from illegal activities, and is trying to do good for themselves and the communities around them

 @8PPDRQ7 from California  answered…4yrs4Y

Yes, and No because criminals had a chance to be a better person and live there life right even though they are a citizen doesn't mean they have to vote. Criminals after being rehablitated should be able to vote expecially if they were commited for smaller crimes that don't hurt anybody.
