Increase temporary work visas given, but increase wages to provide incentives for citizens to also work those jobs and be able to make a living off of them

 @B3B8VRF from Wisconsin  answered…2mos2MO

I think we should give out as many as there are people applying, good at what they do, and of course willing to work, however I do think the government should monitor this in case of companies taking advantage of foreigners and giving them decreased wages.

 @9WK5W3V from Wisconsin  answered…7mos7MO

We need to increase the number of work visas but make sure they only are given to legal, non-violet immigrants.

 @9VPVDF2 from Wisconsin  answered…7mos7MO

Maintain it whatever level it needs to be to ensure we have the people we need in which to function.

 @9MS62CQLibertarian from Wisconsin  answered…12mos12MO

Everyone has opportunities to gain the skills for these jobs & should be paid fairly. Whomever is best skilled should get the job, legally, paying taxes & paid fairly. (Assuming this higher education in the US gets sorted out)

 @9JY7R3R from Wisconsin  answered…1yr1Y

deberian de aumentar la cantidad de visas otorgadas a trabajadores de distintos paise pero ofrecerles un mejor salario o igualarlo al salario de los residentes ya que ellos hacen el mismo trabajo que un residente

 @9JRHYDRProgressive from Wisconsin  answered…1yr1Y

Work visas should be severely decreased, as companies are taking advantage to decrease wages of our citizens and because every year there continues to be an increase in people overstaying works and school visas.

 @7PTCG38Democrat  from Wisconsin  answered…1yr1Y

Increase, businesses need to expediently hire high skilled workers to fill job positions where demand outpaces supply

 @9FZPSHS  from Wisconsin  answered…2yrs2Y

Increase - temporary work visas allow us to attract the best and brightest workers in many cases, giving us a competitive edge

 @7PTCG38Democrat  from Wisconsin  answered…2yrs2Y

Increase, hiring skilled foreign workers allows businesses to fill positions where demand outpaces supply

 @7PTCG38Democrat  from Wisconsin  answered…2yrs2Y

Increase, our economy depends on hiring the highest skilled workers for positions where demand outpaces supply

 @95T982XProgressive from Wisconsin  answered…3yrs3Y

We should encourage and provide our own citizens with incentives for these jobs, but also grant work-visas when needed, although highly regulate so companies do not take advantage of this system.

 @9466BHYCommunist from Wisconsin  answered…3yrs3Y

Increase, but require their employer to pay them the same or more than local workers

 @93NMKHM from Wisconsin  answered…3yrs3Y

Increase or decrease- neither matters if the companies hiring them aren’t forced to pay living wages.

 @8Z784YPIndependent from Wisconsin  answered…3yrs3Y

This should probably be determined by industry and the needs of the market, not by politics.

 @8Y6HTWSPeace and Freedom from Wisconsin  answered…3yrs3Y

Increase, but ensure local and government regulation on companies in order to prevent them from taking advantage of these workers and lowering wages

 @8XNBCSY from Wisconsin  answered…3yrs3Y

If they come from China, a communist country like China no; too many are members of the CCP. Other foreigners who hail from other communist or terrorist countries should have a rigorous screening process to check if they are spies or terrorists. Anyone who is found smuggling fentanyl or humans needs to be deported immediately. They should not be taking jobs from US citizens just because they are willing to take lower wages; only if there is a shortage of qualified people in the said field.

 @8W6XYW2Democrat from Wisconsin  answered…4yrs4Y

I think it should be increased only if they are going to also pay them more money

 @8VCFHWJ from Wisconsin  answered…4yrs4Y

Increase, with fewer loopholes for larger corporations to circumvent the “high-skilled” definition

 @8T9CYFCDemocrat from Wisconsin  answered…4yrs4Y

 @8SBVG6T from Wisconsin  answered…4yrs4Y

 @8RQK9RH from Wisconsin  answered…4yrs4Y

Increase, and allow for them to receive higher wages, equal to those of U.S. citizens

 @8PKN4F2Republican from Wisconsin  answered…4yrs4Y

It depends on the needs of American citizens. Increase if job opportunities are plentiful. Decrease if a recession is occurring.

 @8NGPLW8 from Wisconsin  answered…5yrs5Y

Increase, but post and set standard wages so there is no incentive to hire immigrants other than skill

 @8MBRHP2 from Wisconsin  answered…5yrs5Y

 @8M9WC2P from Wisconsin  answered…5yrs5Y

Increase, but standardize wages so the only incentive is having the most skilled workers

 @8LKKVJZRepublican from Wisconsin  answered…5yrs5Y

 @8KM9BXQ from Wisconsin  answered…5yrs5Y

Maintain, however we should looking more into partnering with the countries who's citizens help uplift our own countries economy.

 @8HSZH54 from Wisconsin  answered…5yrs5Y

There should be no limits to these visas. If the person is qualified, it is the right of the company to hire them and allow them to come to the US to serve provided they pass immigration application and background check/screening processes.

 @8HH7HC9 from Wisconsin  answered…5yrs5Y

I say decrease, because Americans need to have jobs. I know most are looking for a better life, but as we are seeing immigrant children coming here with family, some of the immigrate children have grown up and now taking over our Government and bring their radical ideas to America. It must be stopped!

 @8GHY56K from Wisconsin  answered…5yrs5Y

Yes, and those workers should be paid according to no -immigrant pay scale standards.

 @8CSDBJBWomen’s Equality from Wisconsin  answered…5yrs5Y

Decrease but increase policies to include these individuals in minimum wage laws

 @99ZTCNWRepublican from Wisconsin  answered…2yrs2Y

Decrease. I think we are draining other nations of skilled professionals.

 @99G3SFP from Wisconsin  answered…2yrs2Y

Decrease drastically and severely limit the reasons they might be granted.

 @7PTCG38Democrat from Wisconsin  answered…2yrs2Y

Increase, but the government should be providing more incentives to prepare our citizens for these jobs

 @7PTCG38Democrat from Wisconsin  answered…2yrs2Y

I am satisfied with the current amount, but increase incentives to prepare our citizens for these jobs

 @8TFP2BC from Wisconsin  answered…4yrs4Y

Decrease, companies are currently taking advantage of this program to decrease wages and we have a duty to our OWN citizens to get them working.

 @7PTCG38Democrat from Wisconsin  answered…4yrs4Y

I am satisfied with the current amount, but make it easier for immigrants to obtain these temporary work visas

 @7PTCG38Democrat from Wisconsin  answered…4yrs4Y

Increase, and the government should also provide more incentives to prepare our citizens for these jobs

 @7PTCG38Democrat from Wisconsin  answered…5yrs5Y

Decrease, we should prioritize offering these jobs to qualified domestic workers and utilize skilled immigrant workers only when demand exceeds our available supply

 @7PTCG38Democrat from Wisconsin  answered…4yrs4Y

I am satisfied with the current amount, but sponsor and increase skilled corporate training programs so domestic workers may successfully compete for these positions

 @7PTCG38Democrat from Wisconsin  answered…5yrs5Y

Decrease, we should prioritize offering these jobs to qualified domestic workers and utilize skilled immigrant workers only when demand exceeds our available supply.

 @7PTCG38Democrat from Wisconsin  answered…4yrs4Y

Increase at this current point in time, but the government should provide more incentives to prepare our citizens for these jobs
