5 U.S. states have passed laws requiring welfare recipients to be tested for drugs. Proponents argue that testing will prevent public funds from being used to subsidize drugs habits and help get treatment for those that are addicted to drugs. Opponents argue that it is a waste of money since the tests will cost more money than they save.

Depends on the narcotic, I don’t support testing for marijuana, but stronger and more dangerous drugs, yea
@8G2VMPY5yrs5Y
Yes, by volunteer only and it should only act as an indicator or screening for extra coverage
Yes. But only cancel benefits for people who are doing recreational drugs that result in them not being able to work. You shouldn't be allowed to receive money to support your drug abuse.
yes, only those over the age of 10 and treatment (not in the form of money) should be provided for those who test positive.

All people who receive government money, whether welfare recipients, politicians or employees, must be tested for drugs. If they have drugs in their system, either treat them or threaten to terminate their benefits immediately!
Medicaid for all, everyone receives Healthcare regardless.

No, but there should be a nationally mandated annual doctor's appointment to test for drug abuse, among other health issues.

Yes, test anyone receiving money from the government including employees and politicians, and provide treatment if they test positive.
Only on the presumption of decriminalization and referral to rehabilitation rather than prison.
@8NZF3KLRepublican5yrs5Y
Yes but marijuana should be legal in every state
@8NDDST75yrs5Y
Yes, all drugs; except for marijuana
@8MWHSSGRepublican5yrs5Y
Only drug that severly effect health and productivity.
@8MRN8XY5yrs5Y
Yes, but provide treatment for those testing positive for certain schedules of drugs not all.
@8KHLD3P5yrs5Y
if we suspect they’re using drugs
@8F5RV4Y5yrs5Y
No, but make them work after a certain amount of time.
@8YVMXX93yrs3Y
Yes and No, test anyone receiving money from the government including employees and politicians and immediately terminate benefits for anyone testing positive but provide treatment for those testing positive but this is a waste of time and money and this would be too costly to police, and ineffective to handle. The only true way to fix welfare is to completely remove the government handouts
