Given our current situation during this climate crisis, it is ultimately not wise to continue oil drilling. The cons outweigh the pros. Yes, nations will profit off of the allotted oil, but the environmental concerns severely outweigh the money being earned. This will also severely impact bodies of water that are used for drinking and/or wildlife that we may consume.
