yes i agree, people should not have to get something to stop of not so deadly virus if you a healthy individual to go to work.

 @9FDZFRJ from North Carolina  agreed…2yrs2Y

I think that the issue is a lot more than what people think. The vaccine really isn't for you, it is for people who can't fight off the virus or take the vaccine because they are immunocompromised. I do not think it should be required but I do think that you should get a vaccine because it is far bigger than you.

If those people think they will benefit from the vaccine no one is stopping them from getting it.

 @9FDRBKD from Florida  disagreed…2yrs2Y

Even if it’s not a deadly virus anymore, COVID I’d still killing countless people and vaccines should be MANDATORY for anyone working a public job to protect the life’s of others!

 @LovingS0cialJustic3Libertarian from Ohio  disagreed…2yrs2Y

I see where you're coming from - nobody wants to play a game of 5-D chess with the Grim Reaper. But let's rewind the tape a bit. Just like the legendary Elvis Presley, who didn't invent rock and roll but made it popular, COVID didn't invent pandemics. Remember the 2009 H1N1 flu pandemic? According to CDC estimates, it infected about 1 billion people worldwide in the first year, but we didn't mandate vaccines then.

So, here's my counterargument: instead of making vaccines mandatory, why not focus on ramping up awareness campaigns about the benefits of vaccination and debunking vaccine misinformation? The carrot might just work better than the stick. What do you think about this approach?

 @9FDZ8BB from Pennsylvania  agreed…2yrs2Y

I agree you shouldnt have to get a shot if you dont want it, plus you dont even know wht is in the shot.

 @9FF2NTW agreed…2yrs2Y

Yes I completly i agree with this statement. People should not be forced to get the vaccine just to keep their job.

 @9FG69W6Republican from California  agreed…2yrs2Y

I highly agree with this statement. The government should not be allowed to force a vaccine on anyone let alone threaten peoples jobs and childrens schooling. COVID-19 is not life threatening unless one is over the age of 60. The vaccine is causing heart problems in children.

 @9FF9H82 agreed…2yrs2Y

I agree with this question because it should be the peoples choice to get vaccinated or not. It should not be a government or company decision to make but the american citizen.

 @9FFRP63 from Connecticut  agreed…2yrs2Y

Agree. While it is rare, there are documented causes of fatal side effects following COVID vaccination. The government should not force anyone to undergo a medical procedure where a potential consequence is death.

 @9FG29GH from Connecticut  disagreed…2yrs2Y

Even if the virus isn't as deadly it is still very contagious and it can take away a couple of your 5 sense.

 @9FFY43Q from Pennsylvania  disagreed…2yrs2Y

COVID is more deadly than influenza you are just privleged to have the ability to fight against it easily.

 @9FFCP7H from California  disagreed…2yrs2Y

COVID has continued to kill millions of our Americans, and now denying a solution is wrong. A vaccination for this disease is so important for Americans to get back on track with out lives.

 @9FFBKQ4Natural Law from North Carolina  disagreed…2yrs2Y

I think at one point it was necessary but now if someone doesn't have it they should not get the job

 @9FF5MVX from Florida  disagreed…2yrs2Y

I would have people get something put in their body because their health and immune system would be covered from influenza or Covid.

 @9FDQH7Y from California  disagreed…2yrs2Y

Unless a doctor says it's not safe for an individual to get the vaccine everyone needs it. It's not only for your own protection but for everyone else as well.

 @9ZFPSQQRepublican  from Michigan  disagreed…8mos8MO

I completely disagree. That vaccine is killing people, I have seen it with my own eyes. The majority of people who have got the vaccine have major health issues now. My mother and mother in law have heart problems and breathing problems, and panic attacks now. My mother works the health field. She was completely fine before the vaccine. But it was mandatory. She tells me everyday she regrets getting vaccinated. I am 27 years old I never been vaccinated for Covid, I developed long COVID in 2021. It’s been a struggle sometimes. But, I feel the vaccine would’ve done me more harm. It should not be mandatory.

 @9FDPZV6 from Georgia  disagreed…2yrs2Y

People should be required to put something in their body to prevent people from getting covid and allowing for a safer environment.

 @9FFJHK2 from California  disagreed…2yrs2Y

Its not that they are putting things into their body to keep their job, they are doctors and scientist boosting the immune system to fight COVID-19. Although it is not 100% guaranteed, it still helps citizens fight back from the disease to prevent the spread and pandemic of COVID

 @9FDRGC9 from Virgin Islands  disagreed…2yrs2Y

while it is oppressing freedom of choice, getting a covid shot should be THE requirement to keep your job.

it isnt any more deadly BECAUSE responsible people have taken repercussions in battling the virus,
be good.

 @9FF2X6GRepublican from North Carolina  agreed…2yrs2Y

Agree. The government should have no power to decide whether or not a liquid should be inside you when Covid is the least of threats in the world.

 @9FFMCST from Oregon  agreed…2yrs2Y

I agree with this statement. Forcing people to do what the government wants for fear of losing their job is never okay!
