There are many small businesses that rely on raw materials that are only from foreign countries to make their products

It will put them & their suppliers out of business. My wife works for a small import company. They stopped getting items from China because of the tariffs.

Exactly. Companies will pass on the tariff to consumers.

Trump:

1) Lowers taxes for big corporations

2) New tariffs on imports, which raise prices on everything you find at Walmart and Dollar General

More welfare for the rich. How much profit is enough? It is time to raise the corporate & upper tax bracket higher and start prosecuting tax cheaters with prison sentences. It is unfair for corporations & the 1% to not pay any tax or get refunds.
