How might the transition from personal accolades to group recognition for achievements affect your drive in pursuits like academics or sports?

 @9JR5XXQ from Pennsylvania  answered…1yr1Y

I think that group awards are a good thing and have their place, but I don’t think that they hold be used to replace individual awards.

 @9JRCPTJ from California  agreed…1yr1Y

I belive if a team wins the Super Bowl or the World Cup they should be celebrated and their team impacts are the reason they one not just one player.

 @9JR6S66answered…1yr1Y

It devalues the individual which decreases one's drive to achieve success and accolades.

 @9JR4WMZSocialist  from Virginia  answered…1yr1Y

I believe collective progress is the best method to progress both the self and the whole, and the recognition from groups can bring feedback, opinions, and incentive not usually present in personal pursuits.

If the education system focused only on imparting knowledge without grades or rankings, how would that influence your learning experience?

 @9J7FS6QIndependent from Connecticut  answered…1yr1Y

I feel like students will put less effort into work and assignments but some students will find this as an improvement

 @9J8RVLKSocialist from California  disagreed…1yr1Y

Mastery style grading has been proven to improve retention of information and increase testing scores. This style of teaching should be implemented en masse. This would also reduce the need for homework, helping lessen the tremendous load on students. And, mastery style grading makes students repeat information until they understand it.

 @9J7FPNF from Arizona  answered…1yr1Y

It would depend the system in place, but if it encourages on learning and the quality of it then I see that as a better alternative then what we have now

 @9J7JJBVIndependent from California  agreed…1yr1Y

Grades destroy mental health, a lack of that intensive scrutiny or regulation would make students more open to learning if there is a lack of judgment behind it.

 @9J7FV4V from Illinois  answered…1yr1Y

It would help me and I would learn more and remember it for a longer time rather than focusing on passing tests.

Do you think a society can thrive without leaders, and why or why not?

 @9H7PD8FWomen’s Equality answered…2yrs2Y

In my opinion a society cannot thrive without their leaders because it wouldn’t run easily and smoothly. Without leaders, society will fall apart, crime rates would increase, and everything will be unorganized.

 @9H7QMZB from Texas  answered…2yrs2Y

No, people would disagree and argue leading to fighting and war. We need a system that at least says yes or no to ideas and thoughts.

 @9H7XKRF from Iowa  answered…2yrs2Y

No, it will crumble within itself beyond a small community of more than a hundred people. A society would collapse without rules, its been sited multiple times that eventually they have to make rules and rulers to enforce

 @9H7RNMKLibertarian from Washington  answered…2yrs2Y

Anarcho-communism is praised for its vision of a society without hierarchical structures, where individuals collectively own and manage resources, fostering a sense of equality and shared responsibility. Advocates argue that this model promotes a more just and cooperative community, eliminating the potential for exploitation and creating a system centered on mutual aid and solidarity.

Imagine a world where reputation, not money, is the main currency; how would this affect your choices and interactions?

 @9KVWPD2 from Michigan  answered…1yr1Y

I think people would be a lot less honest, and only show the good parts of themselves.

 @9KXT8M9 from North Carolina  disagreed…1yr1Y

We saw a time in human history where reputation was the main currency, and we see a time now where money is. There is no difference.

If grades were abolished and learning was entirely collaborative, how would that affect your motivation to study?

 @9HJ38MK from Missouri  answered…2yrs2Y

It would greatly affect my motivation to study the things i really want to do, and the things that will affect my future, instead of focusing on the things that do not interest me.

 @9HJ3863 from Michigan  answered…2yrs2Y

This should NOT happen, it would break educational systems and cause less motivation.

 @9HJ39KT from Indiana  answered…2yrs2Y

If grades were abolished im sure my motivation to study would be minimal to only when I felt like it.

Can you envision a network of communities supporting each other without centralized control, and what might be the biggest challenge?

 @9HGQSGV from Michigan  answered…2yrs2Y

In a perfect world, this would work, but the world we live in is far from perfect, so this would become a terrible thing.

 @ISIDEWITHasked…2yrs2Y

When you consider how much you'd trust others to contribute fairly, what does it tell you about your views on human nature?

Could you live without the concept of 'mine' and 'yours,' and how do you think this would impact your relationships?

 @9HK29Z4from Maine  answered…2yrs2Y

I think I would not be able to live without it and I find it unnecessary. I think communism or socialism of some kind can only work if technology like artificial intelligence and automation continue to advance and where resources are abundant.

 @ISIDEWITHasked…2yrs2Y

If there were no ranks or titles at your school or job, how do you think it would affect the way you and others contribute?

Would you be comfortable if your online communities operated without moderators or admins?

 @9HKZL8R from Florida  answered…2yrs2Y

no, i want security and laws, to make sure information is true, but i don't want oppression of information. anarchy has repetitively shown to fail and communism follows close behind and capitalism worships the american dollar. i want someone to tell me what's true and false but i also still want to have the ability to clearly see if i deem it good or bad.

 @9HKZ32RIndependent from Florida  answered…2yrs2Y

There should be an option for the individual to choose their sensitivity level, and how filtered their content is.

How would creative work and innovation be encouraged if all outcomes are shared equally?

 @9H82HGCDemocrat from Florida  answered…2yrs2Y

Socialist movements rejected laissez-faire capitalism and blamed it and the industrial revolution for horrible working and living conditions

 @9H7LGDB from Texas  answered…2yrs2Y

It would discourage innovation and make people become contempt and do the bare minimum because they know the same check will come.

 @ISIDEWITHasked…1yr1Y

How do you believe shared responsibilities can affect relationships between people living in close proximity to one another?

 @9L5BPLP from New York  answered…1yr1Y

I believe shared responsibilities can make relationships better between people living in close proximity.

 @9L5BK23Republican from Utah  answered…1yr1Y

Initially, since the idea is new to most people, and most people are generally good workers, decent to others, and want to improve their surroundings, shared responsibilities would succeed with people living close together. After time passes, though, and the community grows larger, then greed, lies, and taking advantage of others would become widespread and an authority structure would develop no matter how anarchist the community may claim to be. It would be total chaos and would cause severe damage to the whole.

 @ISIDEWITHasked…1yr1Y

How would caring for public spaces as if they were your own property change your behavior in communal areas?

 @9KVX576answered…1yr1Y

If we treat communal areas as our own we can maintain a clean environment and make it a good place for the community specially kids.

 @9KVX4R3 from Oklahoma  answered…1yr1Y

It wouldn't change my behavior because I am respectful, but it would change other people's behavior for the better.

 @ISIDEWITHasked…1yr1Y

 @9KP2ZGK from Florida  answered…1yr1Y

 @9KP2TFPIndependent from Arizona  answered…1yr1Y

Communism usually fails because it doesn't take into account a lot of aspects of human nature. As for anarchy, I believe it should have no place in the US.

 @ISIDEWITHasked…1yr1Y

What role do you think empathy and understanding play in a society with shared ownership and responsibilities?

 @9KVWV3D from Ohio  answered…1yr1Y

Any concept incorporating anarchy or communism is farce and should be put down immediately.

  @9CJ6CB6 from Virginia  commented…1yr1Y

Communism is just inherently anti-government, anarcho-communism just goes fully into that initiative, so it’s mostly the same as normal communism.

 @9KVWNY6Independent from New York  answered…1yr1Y

How would participating in a community garden, where everyone's effort yields shared harvest, influence your view on teamwork?

 @9JT2XHQ from North Carolina  answered…1yr1Y

It would show that every person working with others well have a better understanding of how other work.

 @9JT2X7Z from North Carolina  answered…1yr1Y

I am already in favor of teamwork and a community garden would only give an outlet to practice teamwork and community togetherness.

How do you think societal values might evolve in a system where contributions are according to ability, not profit?

 @9LBSR2PRepublican from Connecticut  answered…1yr1Y

they might evolve in the sense that people will strive to get what they want

 @9LBSQ92  from Missouri  answered…1yr1Y

I think that being good at something or putting in hard work might become more valuable in society, rather than just being average and offering what everyone else does.

 @ISIDEWITHasked…2yrs2Y

 @9KVW6S3 from North Carolina  answered…1yr1Y

I would probably live relatively the same. I would work on what I wanted to, and I think school would end up more specialized and focused, but I come from a background of wealth so life would be similar for me, just less stress in maintaining it.

 @9KVW2X3Republican from Virginia  answered…1yr1Y
