What kind of legacy would you aim to leave in a world where wealth isn't a measure of impact?

 @9KT97D6from Maine  answered…1yr1Y

Just be a good moral individual with huge emphasis on self-reflection and self-improvement. Also, realize that you cannot control other people or their actions.

 @9KXZPLT from Wisconsin  disagreed…1yr1Y

This viewpoint is a selfish one. While it is good for the individual, it says nothing of legacy nor improving society as a whole. By placing a huge emphasis on morals and improving so that society can become more just and equitable, we can influence others while not controlling their actions.

Just trying to be a decent person there is not always a option to be a hero, but you can't take out everything that is wrong with others if you wont make a impact either.

What is a primary challenge you would expect to face in a system where resources are evenly shared?

 @9KT92Q9 from New York  answered…1yr1Y

Some people need different resources than others, or even just more of a certain kind of resource. Perfectly even distribution wouldn't work, someone would need to be making sure everyone gets what they need.

 @9KTSKGVProgressive  from California  agreed…1yr1Y

This is just blatantly true. Some people need extra in order to do what they're best at. Other's need extra to survive. I'm not sure there's any political system that inherently disagrees with this.

 @9KTBBR2 from Texas  answered…1yr1Y

 @9KT8QF8 from New York  answered…1yr1Y

The fact that some people might just want more than what they have and they might try and take what isn’t there’s so they can be the one on stop

How do you see the role of innovation in a society where needs, rather than market demands, drive production?

 @9KFFHPK  from New York  answered…1yr1Y

Innovation is hindered in a society where there is no incentive to do so. The needs of others in a society provide less reason to overachieve than the demands of a market.

 @9KJ9B6G from Washington  agreed…1yr1Y

People don't care about immediate progress because the ones in need of it need to rely on the people who create it, who don't see a need in it because it doesn't affect them

 @9KFFGSTWomen’s Equality from California  answered…1yr1Y

A communist society is characterized by common ownership of the means of production with free access to the articles of consumption and is classless, stateless, and moneyless, implying the end of the exploitation of labour.

How would you envision a celebration or holiday in a culture that doesn't glorify materialism?

 @9JQ9DCQ from Massachusetts  answered…1yr1Y

 @9JQ9Y2Ranswered…1yr1Y

Holidays were never about materials, they are meant to be time you spend with your family and friends. It's a time where you get together and just enjoy each others company.

 @9JQ7WXR from Georgia  answered…1yr1Y

As an Anti-Communist, I can still see anri-materialism as an easy thing to celebrate, such as religious or folk traditional holidays. You do not need an oppressive regime to enforce good will.

 @ISIDEWITHasked…1yr1Y

If your successes couldn't be quantified by wealth or possessions, how would you measure them?

 @9L4TWNPanswered…1yr1Y

In the least cliche way possible, happiness. Mental health.

 @9L4XBJCGreen  from New York  agreed…1yr1Y

Staying happy and healthy can lead to a fulfilling lifestyle. Especially in our modern day world where it can be seen as taboo to speak or preach on mental heath advocation.

 @9L4TLHQ from Missouri  answered…1yr1Y

I never measure by wealth or possessions cause that's stupid. I measure by how truthful something is, how it makes me feel, how it will impact my future, my relationships with people.

 @ISIDEWITHasked…1yr1Y

When making group decisions, how would you ensure all voices are heard equally?

 @9JL3K67answered…1yr1Y

have a place for people to go to and share their opinion. more like voting but just to go write a paper sharing what they have to say.

 @9JL3V29Independent from North Carolina  answered…1yr1Y

By having everyone voice their opinions then having everyone else voice their opinions on that persons opinions, So just a long discussion.

 @9JL37JL answered…1yr1Y

Making sure everyone has the right to speak and with this, voting is necessary.

Is it fair for individuals who work harder or smarter to receive the same as those who contribute less?

 @9HCS9FW from California  answered…2yrs2Y

It depends on the situation. For example, if one is working harder but has a criminal record, it is mildly sensible to equate them to those contributing less.

 @9HLMFL4 from Massachusetts  answered…2yrs2Y

Communism does not work and always results in poverty and evil. Putting the word "neo" in front of it doesn't change a thing.

if everyone's needs where met that no one would want to do anything. humans naturally take the path of least resistance.

How would societal values change if the main goal was the betterment of the community over the individual?

 @9KSMQNN  from Massachusetts  answered…1yr1Y

I think with Neo-Communism it gives America as a whole a chance to feel and be successful along with others by your side and it will lead to less greed in the world

 @9KS2DNNPeace and Freedom from Pennsylvania  commented…1yr1Y

everyone would turn on each other more easily but would have a bigger and better community homes n others but the people would not be as smart or have the right to even do so.

How could we address the needs of vulnerable populations in a world where everyone is supposed to be equal?

 @9LJDQJRPeace and Freedom from Texas  answered…1yr1Y

Allowing god given rights and learning to speak with these individuals and allowing them chances to speak publicly on issues they face

 @9LJFFDY from Illinois  answered…1yr1Y

the real world dictates that nobody is equal. You are born a hedge fund baby and get to reap the rewards of everyone else's labor and evade the taxes normal people have to pay.

 @ISIDEWITHasked…1yr1Y

How do you envision the role of education in a world where knowledge is shared and accessible to all?

 @9LFVLHR from Florida  answered…1yr1Y

It could be dangerous, especially in a world where it is accessible to all ages. Personally, children shouldn't be allowed to learn about gender or sexuality until they are much older. I think this will prevent parents from making that decision. Also, could the information be manipulated if everyone has access to it?

 @9LFVJ9H from California  answered…1yr1Y

A basic standard of education should be taught but also students should be taught how to critically assess the truth of information and how to learn on their own.

 @ISIDEWITHasked…1yr1Y

What might be the advantages of learning from a variety of jobs rather than specializing in one, as in traditional job rotations?

 @9K9GKXG from North Carolina  answered…1yr1Y

The workforce could become much more productive as they would not get so tired of doing the same things day after day.

 @9K9G6DSanswered…1yr1Y

Not many advantages just having to worry about learning new skills while not being as proficient as one who stays at one sort of job.

If creativity was not driven by market demands, in what new ways could people express themselves?

 @9JL4PHF from Utah  answered…1yr1Y

However they want to, artists in the Middle Ages were not motivated by money but by the pursuit of their craft.

 @9JL4GP3 from Texas  answered…1yr1Y

I don’t see the link (or implied link) between communism and creativity. Some of the most important art and literature came from Soviet Russia. Creativity doesn’t have to be driven by market demands (presumably we mean investment here), government can (and should) replace all private investors, creating a more equitable innovation and creative process

How would the concept of ambition be redefined in a society where everyone's basic needs are met?

 @9LFW65CRepublican from Georgia  answered…1yr1Y

Ambition would become increasingly rare in a society where everyone earns the same amount of income despite the difference in job. It would however provide the opportunity for current low income individuals to consider ambitions rather than survival.

How do you think your daily life would change if you lived in a society governed by Neo-Communism?

 @9H6XGVPfrom Maine  answered…2yrs2Y

no capitalism is still the best machine ever created by humans. With that said there should be some checks and balances for when companies become too large and powerful.

  @9CJ6CB6 from Virginia  commented…1yr1Y

They already are, there’s no checks and balances that stop them. Capitalism itself is immoral, both capitalism and socialism can create a good society, but socialism is meant to come AFTER capitalism has served its purpose. It lost its purpose in the 1900s.

 @ISIDEWITHasked…2yrs2Y

Do you think a world without any form of social or economic hierarchy is realistically achievable, and why or why not?

 @9HLMGYY  from Florida  answered…2yrs2Y

It’s not realistic because human nature Will impulse you to do differently. It might be achievable with great effort, patience and compliance. Achieving such thing cannot happen in this country overtime, specially with the idea that socialism (I believe this is what is referred by neo-communism) restricts all freedom. I believe building wealth isn’t bad, as long as everyone receives a fair wage under said rich company

  @9CJ6CB6 from Virginia  commented…1yr1Y

Human nature can change, it’s not a constant. We used to think human nature was violent, intentionally destructive and so self serving that the majority of people would kill without mercy. That’s not true today, because as the environment changes, the people in it will change. If people live in better conditions that encourage morality and kindness, while discouraging greed and corruption, then they will change as such. Human nature arguments are ridiculous, all it means is that we can’t go too fast.
