In America, staying in a homeless shelter long term is not something that people can do

some people are either addicted to drugs or have pets and cannot stay. However, homeless people should be allowed to sleep on benches late at night, but should NOT be allowed to set up camps on sidewalks or in parks. instead of making laws that make being homeless illegal, the government should open small jobs to help get them back on their feet and find a real job. finding a job is impossible now even for a teenager, but finding a job as a homeless person is much harder.
