Innocent until proven guilty. So no. But, if there is cause for chicanery or a flight-risk, then house-arrest should be an option.

Certain things are classified as felonies, so while I agree that there shouldn't be bail for certain crimes, there needs to be some changes in what is considered a felony. Overall, it depends on the felony.

Only if there is a video of the person commiting the act, or the female is pregnate or DNA in the female of the offender. No he say nor she say.

Someone is perceived innocent until found guilty. The bail should be a set minimum by offense with significant factual evidence.

yes but it has to be judged based on a humanity scale. rape should be castration, the crime should fit the punishment

I think the mere accusation should not lead to locking up, because what happens if the accused is proven innocent during trial.
