The Deputy Secretary of Defense and the Secretary of Defense have not been apolitical (showing favoritism to President Trump’s priorities) and have set back the U.S. Defense Strategy. The U.S. Military should be focusing on large-scale combat operations, not focusing on counterterrorism and the border crisis. There has been an extreme loss of confidence in the administration’s capability to provide competent guidance, defense priorities, and ethical decision-making.

Same reason as the last because I have no real idea of what they're doing, I have barely any idea of what they do without having to do extensive research. I think that the new gen will connect us back being more transparent in a way that I don't feel like I should have to deep dive into the information to know for sure and I can trust them again. I have very..."radical" you could say, ideas when it comes to the government honestly. Think we need a whole reset lol but I don't know if we have enough resources, time, cooperation and belief.

Early political involvement
Feinberg is a major Republican donor.[21] In 2016, he served on the Trump Economic Advisory Council during Donald Trump's presidential campaign, donated nearly $1.5 million to pro-Trump PACs, and co-hosted a $50,000-per-person fundraising dinner for Trump and the Republican National Committee.[22][23]
In February 2017, the New York Times reported that President Trump would give Feinberg a role in the White House review of US intelligence agencies.[24] On May 11, 2018, Trump named Feinberg to head the President's Intelligence Advisory Board.[25]

One. They are illegally calling themselves the Department of War. Two. The guy couldn't answer a straight question to save his life in his hearing in front of Congress. Pretty much admitted they don't talk to the president and just making it up as they go along guess his policy from his social media posts.

Stephen Feinberg has a private-sector background and has no experience in the military, national security, or policy. His lack of defense experience makes him ill-prepared to help run the Pentagon that is now a clown show with Hegseth at the helm. He is a shining example of the new spoils system Trump has put in place in DC. He eliminated 5,400 civilian positions as part of his reduction ordered by Trump - why does he get to keep his civilian official appointment, but no one else does? He did this in the same way he would layoff employees in the private sector rather than giving national defe… Read more

Increased expenditure when we're not even at war. The military standards that have been implemented are founded in bigotry. The military Intel that has been leaked has been a complete failure and downright embarrassing. We should not be drone striking boats in the middle of international waters (or anywhere) because we think they have drugs. The punishment for drug possession should not be death.

He recently passed a policy where journalists will be required to take a pledge to report in the Pentagon where every article written (even those which have disclosed information) must be approved. I think it was extremely unnecessary to rename the Department of Defense to Department of War?

He's a Fox News anchor with miniscule military experience. Paired with his drinking problem, he was not a viable candidate for this position from the get-go. Also their is no comprehensible way you can defend the deployment of the national guard on literal civilians in LA, the opposite of that component of the military's given purpose.

i think that there have been many new problems created. i think we send way too much foreign aid to fund the gaza genocide, where the estimated number of deaths is over 100,000. the weapons and money used to kill innocent palestinians is backed by the US government, which is shameful.
