“I deal with people everyday who are addicted to drugs; regular marijuana users are significantly affected mentally (memory/thought processes/motivation,etc) over a long period of time. it also affects their ability to drive, operate machinery etc. If you legalize it, then you'd better be able to quantify how it affects those abilities (like we do for alcohol); otherwise we'll have more potheads on the highways/working in health care--(how about that nurse/doctor who's going to operate on you?). medical marijuana is a joke---just a way to legalize it for the potheads I've dealt with for years.”
