“Not a simple solution here either. Need to evaluate how pay increases have been assessed and then brought into line accordingly. My experience is that a shift took place about 20 years ago and income increased along with the percent of pension contributions throwing it out of control. When incomes increased in line with the outside sector, then pensions should have been adjusted and individuals would contribute too. What took place in WI is what should have happened a couple decades ago.”
