Only if the policy is displayed on the outside of the building. That way a costumer does not have to enter an establishment with the expectation of service only to be turned away.

If a business wants to refuse revenue for any reason, that should be their choice. But when they go bankrupt due to the lost revenue, the government should not bail them out.

if you're going to deny service to a group of people, then be honest and own it. make it public. "because of my religious beliefs i cannot offer services to homosexuals" for example. that way i won't even waste my time coming into your establishment and will simply go to someone who will offer me services

Yes, any business should be able to deny service for any reason. But they also then accept the consequences of the publicity that their decision generates

Private and not govt run businesses should have the right to deny service to anyone .... Period! It is their business & govt & courts should not get involved. Most will still serve a person because they cannot afford to turn away business ... So let those few who do not wish to serve a person for any reason, do so. I would not even want a person to serve me if I knew they had such hate and distain for me, so why would I insist upon them serving me out of principal.

As long as the business discriminates based upon all old testament activities equally: Wearing mixed cloths, women talking in church, women must wear hats, only eating animals with cloven hoof, if your brother dies suddenly you must impregnate his wife, etc. In other words, they must discriminate equally.

If you own your own business, you have the right to refuse service to anyone without reason...

Yes, you can deny service to whomever you choose, but I have the right to call you on it and not give you my money. Free market economies are like that.

Privately owned businesses offering a non-essential (codified in law) product or service should be able to deny that product or service based on religious beliefs which they have demonstrably adhered (one could sue if they showed the business or it's owners have not applied their religious views uniformly or the religion is not recognized).

In certain circumstances, Yes. Doctors/hospitals should be able to refuse to perform abortions. Churches should not have to recognize same sex marriages.

Yes, as long as you are not providing a public service, like driving a taxi, medical care. If you are selling something that can easily be bought next door, then have at it.

 @2JD9K2Nuit Florida beantwoord…3 jaar3Y

If you are in business you should not allow religion, sex, color, etc. influence how you treat your customers. You are entitled to your beliefs and they are to theirs. If your beliefs are so strong that you want to deny service then you need to have a private business where only those who subscribe to your beliefs can be served. Limits your business...your choice...

 @2JCTBTJuit Arizona beantwoord…3 jaar3Y

It depends on what that business is and whether or not that business gets any form of government subsidies. I don't want hospitals or doctors turning people away for any reason.

If your going to refuse work because you feel someone is living in sin (for being gay for example) then you have to refuse work for ALL sins that are against your religion. You shouldn't get to discriminate based on sexual orientation.
