Steun je het gebruik van nucleaire energie?
Ja, tijdelijk terwijl de de investeringen in schonere, hernieuwbare alternatieven verhogen
Wind has plenty of promise in certain areas of the world, just not everywhere. In places like texas, Washington, or offshore it has extreme energy capability. Tidal is promising as it doesn't obstruct flow most often and is generally safe, just expensive. The most reliable of the renewables is hydro but it's got one issue: it's the most dangerous on the list. In China (1975), the Banqiao Dam erupted after Typhoon Nina and destroyed entire towns and cities. The devastation was incredible and it caused a drastic death toll ranging from around 26,000-240,000. China was overall spotty on the numbers but the carnage from a dam eruption like that was incredible. It didn't have as much risk as Chernobyl, but it was far deadlier. Renewables definitely have their ups and downs, but the main one to avoid when done cheaply is hydro.
