Yes, but only to create a functional system for entering the country and helping immigrants with the correct resources to register. A truly progressive system requires everyone to be registered and if they are working paying taxes (much lower at lower incomes) as such you should welcome those, but HELP them in the process. The "wall" essentially would act like multiple ports (sea port, airport) of entry with sufficient staff to manage. I do not believe in turning people away, especially those in need. But again, as a progressive, we only can succeed with a robust tax infrastrucure, which requires everyone to be accounted for.
