Withholding disaster aid based on whether a state voted for you is not only unethical, it's downright dangerous. Lives were on the line and instead of acting quickly, Trump was busy playing political games. Disaster relief should be a basic, nonpartisan function of government. It’s moments like this that show why we need systemic change and more accountability in government.
