No, kids should be raised to be racially color blind instead of being taught they are inherently racist or disadvantaged based on the color of their skin. It can majorly effect a kid’s life and their view on themselves in a pretty negative guilt filled way. Their is positive potential from this method as is the same for many methods of teaching but the negatives outweigh the positives and putting the weight of social political topics on kids at such a young age is morally ethically criminal. Simply teaching kids the value of respecting each other and not judging anyone inherently based on their race, sex/gender, age , culture and beliefs are the best way to bring people together. Teaching them to not immediately think of race, sex/gender , age, culture and beliefs when it comes to judging people , a long with color blindness and judging by the content of character is needed to bring basic morals to a kid’s knowledge. Don’t let politics of any side or belief be the main source of a kid’s upbringing. Politicians, & their beliefs based on policy opinions are more subjective then objective. Separating them into categories of status based on social political topics & views that are never completely objective and are based highly on point of view whether well intentioned or not can isolate them through trauma and potentially bad mental health , but regardless this is a free country and regardless of my personal values in unity and true Patriot Democracy we should let both kids & their parents decide if they want to partake in this kind of education at any stage, especially/mainly the kids considering they’ll be the ones receiving the education but it should be clear that kids should be given an objective understanding with no bias on the kind of class their taking when it comes to Critical Race Theory, and should have the complete choice in access to pull out if they feel uncomfortable or are traumatized by the methods of a class like this at such a young age. Otherwise it should be the choice of The Kids
