Yes, preventative services have been proven to provide cost savings by reducing the amount of emergency room visits and complications of chronic diseases

 @B2LPVGX from California  answered…5mos5MO

Make it easier for those who need to be in a safer country like the United States to become citizens and harder for criminals to become citizens

 @9ZMJM2R from California  answered…8mos8MO

If they are a citizen of the United States of America i think they should be entitled to government-subsizied healthcare.

 @9VHKFQL from California  answered…9mos9MO

No, Legal tax payers would/are paying for illegal immigrants for healthcare, when that shouldn't even be possible.

 @9T7YYK5 from California  answered…10mos10MO

Illegal immigrants should be able to access healthcare after a background check and/or become a documented immigrant before getting healthcare.

 @9SM6WG3Democrat from California  answered…10mos10MO

Yes and then deported if they have not complies with the steps to become legal.all children should have access to medical care.

  @BNB_yee  from California  answered…11mos11MO

Generally, outside of emergencies, I do not think illegal immigrants should have access to federal healthcare programs, as it would put an excessive burden on the systems designed for citizens. However, individual states should be able to determine whether or not illegal immigrants are allowed access to their healthcare programs, and private healthcare should be acceptable for illegal immigrants to purchase.

 @9JPGRQ7 from California  answered…1yr1Y

They should be required to become citizens first, then receive medical aid. Or, if they are in life-threatening emergencies, then it does not matter if they are citizen or not. You do not leave a person to die just because they are not one of you.

 @9JP7Q35 from California  answered…1yr1Y

No one should be denied healthcare especially in emergency situations. After the illegal immigrant is treated they should be required to become a citizen of the United States or return home.

 @9J3762HIndependence from California  answered…1yr1Y

Yes, to a point because they are expecting to come into a country with healthcare laying at their feet while people are citizens have to pay for their healthcare and is not equal. I think that if they establish citazenship then thats a different story. But if that is not done I think that emergencies and infectious diseases are okay to treat.

 @9H57LBY from California  answered…2yrs2Y

Yes, they are here because of some flaw by the government itself. A basic service should be provided at the very least. We also want to make sure there is not an epidemic starting because someone is left untreated.

 @9GVBQDY from California  answered…2yrs2Y

healthcare should be provided to those trying or in the process of receiving citizenship and to those with life threatening emergencies or infectious diseases.

 @9GV9HG4 from California  answered…2yrs2Y

No. If they know that they are illegal in an area as an immigrant, they shouldn't even have access to medications.

 @9G5CFL4 from California  answered…2yrs2Y

i feel like they should if they are fleeing from their country because of violence or to search for more opportunities

 @9DDVHLKWomen’s Equality from California  answered…2yrs2Y

if legal Americans struggle to gain and maintain healthcare why and how shiuld others just be able to have it

 @9DCMCLS from California  answered…2yrs2Y

give them all the stuff they need,and then kick them back to their country.

 @95YV7HW from California  answered…3yrs3Y

 @948D37H from California  answered…3yrs3Y

no but deport all the bad ones and the good ones can stay and they should have to take a test or go to school to learn and then they can become a american

 @948C62M from California  answered…3yrs3Y

I don't even see how the government finds it fair to not let immigrants have access to healthcare. Everyone should have access to it regardless of your immigration status or class.

 @92GM7KS from California  answered…3yrs3Y

Yes, if they have resided in the U.S for some time and contribute to the economy.

 @92DJNPM from California  answered…3yrs3Y

Yes, but they should be actively pursuing legal citizenship and following all US rules

 @9292FB5 from California  answered…3yrs3Y

 @8YFX556 from California  answered…3yrs3Y

They should have health care because if they get sick and can't get the help they might pass the disease/sickness to somebody else or maybe even worse die.

 @8XHVN5K from California  answered…4yrs4Y

 @8XD4NXL from California  answered…4yrs4Y

Yes, but only under extreme circumstances, and all children should have access regardless.

 @8WVWWDG from California  answered…4yrs4Y

No, unless it is a life threatening emergency or an infectious disease, but they should have an easier path to citizenship.

 @8VZZ4V9 from California  answered…4yrs4Y

I think it’s the same as Obama care. If they are coming here to better themselves and start a new life as most of them are then it’s okay as long as they show effort

 @8VGV7WQ from California  answered…4yrs4Y

Yes, but only for life threatening emergencies of infectious diseases but they should be allowed to purchase private healthcare.

 @8VG96VG from California  answered…4yrs4Y

 @8VDHLB7 from California  answered…4yrs4Y

 @8VD6RQN from California  answered…4yrs4Y

 @8TWC23T from California  answered…4yrs4Y

Yes, but that is if they were born in america illegally. Those people didn't choose the life of being an illegal immigrant and therefore if they need help then they should be able to get help with healthcare to help them get on their feet until they get a green card/visa

 @8T243Z3 from California  answered…4yrs4Y

Everyone should have access to affordable healthcare. Everyone. I don't really care how it's payed for that much, but everyone should be able to afford healthcare.

 @8RT4C3Z from California  answered…4yrs4Y

This question is absolutely ridiculous. The keyword here being illegal meaning they broke our law‘s to enter our country on what planet has it ever yielded positive results when negative actions are rewarded. None the answer is none and it never will so why on earth would we spend taxpaying dollars to support the breaking of our laws the very laws that the taxpaying dollars support I mean come on...

 @8PMLSSG from California  answered…5yrs5Y

yes many illegal immigrants pay taxes and many citizens avoid them so why should the people avoiding taxes get medicaid but not the people contributing

 @8NFJNNB from California  answered…5yrs5Y

 @8JHPMXT from California  answered…5yrs5Y

 @8G2HBBRRepublican from California  answered…5yrs5Y

Yes, but deport them after treatment, and give it to children. Also treat anyone who has a time sensitive, serious condition.

 @8CPWMY3 from California  answered…5yrs5Y

Yes but then they should be guided to becoming a citizen and should only get treatment if it’s life threatening

 @994L2JSIndependent from California  answered…2yrs2Y

Yes, if they have passed the checks to live in our country and they become a citizen.

 @96ST8KR from California  answered…3yrs3Y

 @8KH5KFW from California  answered…5yrs5Y

Yes, but only for life threatening emergencies or infectious diseases once per individual only if deemed acceptable circumstances, not to be abused at the cost of the United States, and then should be promptly deported.

 @8JJ8Z9P from California  answered…5yrs5Y

 @8G89VQ6 from California  answered…5yrs5Y

 @8R3TVPT from California  answered…4yrs4Y

No because then it uses materials that were reserved for U.S. citizens and then there won't be enough for U.S. citizens

 @8YYBYBH from California  answered…3yrs3Y

Depends, cause they probably shouldn't have free access all the time they would eventually have to start paying so the hospital can also keep up with their business.
