Israel is the largest cumulative recipient of U.S. foreign assistance since World War II. To date, the United States has provided Israel $150 in bilateral assistance and missile defense funding since the country’s founding in 1948. Nearly all of U.S. bilateral aid to Israel is in the form of military assistance. In fiscal year 2022 the Biden administration requested $3.8 billion in military aid for Israel.

No, but we should put effort into negotiating for a peace deal between Palestine and Israel, favoring Palestine as its territory was infringed upon and it has a far greater population.
@9CYJ9DD 2yrs2Y
we should support Israel but stop funding when they are are at a point they are being sanctioned for war crimes by the WOrld Court

No, especially if it’s without conditions, like human rights. We cannot fund the current Netanyahu administration or any future alt-right regime. We should give equal support to Israel and Palestine and/or be less involved. We should not give any unconditional aid or support to any foreign nations.

@9YL5BQR8mos8MO
Yes, but we would only send in military doctors nurses and medics to help their in, not send in people to fight
@9XXXQLG8mos8MO
I don't really know we can make enemy helping them but gain all the more if we do I believe we should be countries deal with stuff like this but seeing as they have citizens that were kidnapped and dead children I believe we should wipe their attackers off the face of the earth

No, cut all support and aid, and severe all military and diplomatic ties, and do the same for any other regime which engages in genocide.
Yes, but the government should set a hard line with Israel to protect civilians and follow international law and norms
Instead of providing military funding, we should give civilian support to both Palestine and Israel.
@9WPGWNP9mos9MO
Give Israel defense mechanisms, but restrict the application of weapons, and give humanitarian aid to Palestine. Force two-state solution.
@9GDR3FL2yrs2Y
Israel is committing the war crime of apartheid under the Geneva Convention, and as such, we should restrain all foreign aid to Israel until a peaceful solution whereby Palestinians are given their land and freedom back, without fear of Israeli retribution, is achieved. In the interim, we should support the Palestinian people.
@9G7TSYH2yrs2Y
yes with more aid and support but for the people not the government, and aid for Palestinian people as well.

This requires nuance and cannot be answered with yes or no.
@92FY23SIndependent3yrs3Y
Yes, but only after Palestine is recognized.
@8P5YFST5yrs5Y
No, instead focus efforts on promoting diplomacy and having Israel acknowledge what has been done to Palestine
@8NPYW335yrs5Y
I really don't understand why we need to get as involved with other nations as we do. But if a trade of valuable services benefits both then I can see it in a positive light. $3.3 billion seems high in this instance.

Aid should always be conditional
I am Jewish.
My allegiance is to these United States and peace in the world.
I hate Hamas and terrorism.
I hate Bibi and genocide.
Our aid should always be conditional.
Israel has a surplus of funds, Medicare-for-all, a strong military, etc.
The Israeli government can/should support itself and not depend on our support, because otherwise they have no incentive to be peaceful with their neighbors.
If Israel hopes to continue to be an independent country and/or receive any aid, then it must sustain itself through methods that follow the Geneva convention.
@9CP9D5W2yrs2Y
Yes, but we should should only give aid to any country in times of environmental disaster.
@9CB8D2V2yrs2Y
No, Israel is a terrorist State
@9X35YP68mos8MO
Yes only if the end settlements in Gaza, and they stop the genocide of Palestinians. Support with conditions. We support them also g as the don’t break international laws regarding war crimes
