Yes investing in nuclear energy is the expansion of energy towards new technology however, we should impose a tighter restriction and skilled workers to function with these nuclear power plants and have a safe disposable for any waste.

 @BC8F2Z8 from Texas  agreed…2mos2MO

I believe nuclear energy is the most efficient and the most futuristic and usable in the forseeable future for generations to come. The fear of nuclear energy is fearmongered via media and the infamous Chernobyl incident.

 @BC8QX8R from North Carolina  agreed…2mos2MO

Nuclear energy can be very useful and is indeed very energy dense, but we need to have a very strict plan and set of rules for waste disposal and handling.

 @BC96RS2 from North Carolina  agreed…2mos2MO

I agree, but the government should step out of the way, rather than interfering even more. Solar electricity has stagnated because of government intervention, and I do not wish for that to occur to nuclear as well.

 @BC8CG3K from Kentucky  agreed…2mos2MO

yes. the only reason we fear nuclear energy is because of stereotypes. people fear it because of human mistakes if we just take it seriously then there will never be problems.

 @BC8G73G from North Carolina  agreed…2mos2MO

I agree as long as we learn from past mistakes, like we are supposed to, then we should be looking for better and more efficient energy sources.

 @BCB2J3K from Colorado  agreed…2mos2MO

People argue that it will cause an excessive amount of nuclear waste, but 30 years of nuclear waste does not take up a very small room.

"Nuclear energy is more efficient and more effective than other forms of clean energy at scale. Nuclear energy is safe, clean, powerful, and more cost effective than other forms of clean energy over time. Other forms of clean energy are important to the picture as well, but nuclear must play a large role." Wholeheartedly Agree

I agree completely. There have been few reactor meltdowns in history, and since those meltdowns we have implemented better safety regulation.

 @BC8DRGC from Michigan  agreed…2mos2MO

100% agree nuclear energy is the cleanest and best energy, just lawmakers and corporations are scared of making plants or laws that benefit because of the backlash coming from the public.

 @BC8DKNF from Wisconsin  agreed…2mos2MO

I completely agree nuclear energy is the best cleanest and longest lasting energy source and its been proven in submarines and nuclear power plants.

 @BC8W6TD from Rhode Island  agreed…2mos2MO

Nuclear Energy is only seen as a problem because Hollywood and other entertainment industries paint it in a villainous light (such as Mr. Burns from the Simpsons). Nuclear Energy is one of the most proven to be clean energy, and investing in it would raise a better competitor for energy systems like coal and oil.

 @BC8BMVHRepublican from Nebraska  agreed…2mos2MO

I completely agree. Nuclear Energy is the future, and I honestly can't see why we are not progressing towards this more.
