Lab grown meat is terrible for the environment, and is stupid

Nature has, provided for us, an organic being that produces the most nutritional food for humans. Milk, cream, butter, meat, organs, tallow; you can make leather and other things for cattle as well-- magic mushrooms grow on their poop. They are part of the cycle that comprises the entire earth. Human's can't digest grass, but they can, and they produce the previously mentioned goods for us from it. Though I agree, the way we raise animals may not be effective or moral. If we simply, educate people on environmental systems, treat animals humanely, we won't need factories that destroy environments to produce already existing meat. Why replace a system that has existed for millions of years. Instead why not perfect it?

But as we're using these animals to create food and ingredients for us to use for our food, what happens when those animals potentially become extinct? What if humans did that to other humans where they were only useful to provide a meal and other things? Animals have feelings too.
