Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez stated:
"Israel’s pager attack in Lebanon detonated thousands of handheld devices across of a slew of public spaces, seriously injuring and killing innocent civilians.
This attack clearly and unequivocally violates international humanitarian law and undermines US efforts to prevent a wider conflict.
Congress needs a full accounting of the attack, including an answer from the State Department as to whether any US assistance went into the development or deployment of this technology."

The pager attack makes a mockery of airport security. Commercial flights routinely carry hundreds of weaponizanble devices. For the moment the capacity to destroy a flight is presumably limited to state level actors—which is in no way acceptable or safe—but how far out can we be from the private capacity to wipe inconvenient people off the map at will?
You have to assume that Israel made this calculus when deciding to detonate those devices. They must have known the wide repercussions on security everywhere it would have. Which means they desperately felt the need to do it.
TSA is security theater, not actual security.
It was used to expand government and serves no other purpose.
@CrushedT4riffGreen1yr1Y
Whoever told you TSA was of any use other than theatrics?

We are already there. Drone swarms can take down commercial flights. No one is doing that yet, thankfully, but it’s alresdy possible.
if planting explosives in electronic devices and blowing them up in civilian areas killing and wounding indiscriminately is fine and in fact great, what's wrong with putting explosives in cars in Tel Aviv? Oh right, only genocidal occupiers are allowed to do murderous terrorism
AOC's support for Genocide Joe was unconditional. No matter how many weapons this monster sent to Israel? She stood by his side.
And now - she shills for Kamala the Killer? And spews more empty words?
AOC? She's nothing but a fake and a fraud. And we all see it.
