These "would you rather" questions are a waste of words unless they actually present options to choose from that can actually go somewhere on topic. Patriotism alone doesn't defend you against a violent intruder, and guns without ammo doesn't either.

I would dissagree, a study by the CDC suggests that anywhere between 500,000 and 3,000,000 people use a firearm to defend themselves per year. this number was based off a couple hundred study's, that is why the number has a large gap.
