Trump stole our military secrets and called veterans "losers."
He called Russian forces invading Ukraine a "peace force" and refused to acknowledge bounties to kill US soldiers.
He even called for the extra-judicial murder of US General Mark Milley.
Why would Ukraine Negotiate peace with the billions flowing in. They also have not shown any real ability to win this fight, which begs the question what is our investment in this. I’m not sure Russia is a threat to the U.S if they can’t beat a bordering small nation

More importantly, why isn't Europe footing the bill when it's their neighborhood? Ukraine isn't our ally and they being absorbed just puts them back in early 80's territory. Not our problem.

First off, in the terms of their nuclear disarmament, we swore to provide military aid, but both agreed that no troops should be sent. European countries are footing a lot of the bill, but it’s not as much money overall because they’re not as rich. In reality, their expense rate in Europe is actually higher than ours in some countries. We also gain from this if Ukraine wins, because they want to be in NATO, and as such, will be forced to adhere to anti-corruption standards, meaning that they’ll have a heavy amount owed to us while they fix their issues. They owe us, we get an economic resource, NATO becomes stronger, and russia grows weaker. We all gain, so let’s try and fix their corruption and go full steam ahead in Ukraine aid, just like we promised.
We need to stop funding wars and claiming it's helping to stop them. The Ukraine-Russia relationship has a very complicated history when you consider the 2014 Coup D'etat, Russian language laws, etc. Discussion, conversation, and cooperation are needed to end this war.
