On February 24 2022, Russia invaded Ukraine in a major escalation of the Russo-Ukrainian War that began in 2014. The invasion caused Europe’s largest refugee crisis since World War II, with around 7.1 million Ukrainians fleeing the country and a third of the population displaced. It has also caused global food shortages. From February 2022 – September 2022 the U.S. government approved approximately $50 billion in economic and military aid for Ukraine. The funding is earmarked for training, equipment, weapons and other support—such as salaries and stipends—for Ukraine’s military and security forces and budgetary support for Ukrainian government operations.

If we can't support our own issues at large that results into crazy living standards and serious political issues causing chaos amongst a goofy 2 party system then it shows we can't support other nations. I am Ukrainian by blood myself but that doesn't mean I like or support the position stance of that country nor what issues it has. It has shown corruption and dictated peoples lives in the past. It shows no interest for me until it recognizes a Free nation like United States.

Yes to a certain point, but there are bigger issues happening in America. Ukraine has gotten the amount of support it has because the (white) government officials see their faces in them, so they feel more empathy for them than the kids in congo being sold.

there are already people in serious poverty and we decide to fund Ukraine help america first we need to sometimes mind our business

I think we should be helping them financially, send humanitarian aid (as much as possible) but I don't think we need to be fighting a war for them and sending billions upon billions when we should be focusing on home base first, with food crisis and helping with like social security, elderly, disability
Yes we should, however the UN needs to increase the amount of resources that they provide to match what the US is contributing.

We should but they have to buy it from us until they join NATO. They we can lend supplies once they are apart of NATO. Humanitarian aid should always be provided though.
@966MQXH3yrs3Y
Yes, and officially join the war
@95CXDW43yrs3Y
I feel like they should not be spending as much money as they are
@9CGTFSW2yrs2Y
Yes, but all funding should go toward mediation, peacekeeping, and humanitarian aid.
