No, but it is the most effective form of testing. More research should go into finding alternatives, though.

No, researchers should not test on animals at all. Animals are still living being, and deserve to be treated to the same scientific standards as humans. Humans are technically animals as well.

Yes, but only if it is deemed humane and doesn’t ensure death or pain in the animal

 @8QWNBC9 from Illinois  answered…4yrs4Y

Yes, but only if we know the products will not permanently harm the animals.

 @8QTY5RYGreen from Illinois  answered…4yrs4Y

No, and all researchers that do test on animals should be prosecuted for animal cruelty.

Not for domestic animals such as dogs, cats, horses, etc. Only use rats.

The value of testing on animals tends to be questionable at best, with that said I'm sure there are some niche cases where it's a logical idea. If it's allowed it should be VERY rarely allowed

Depends on the chemical testing usage being used on these animals and how it could affect the animal in some way such as being harmful or could cause long term side affects.

 @8YRM4XVPeace and Freedom from Illinois  answered…3yrs3Y

I believe it depends on what their testing and if it can be lethal to the animals or not.

 @8G6DT3C from Illinois  answered…5yrs5Y

There needs to be stricter guidelines on how the animals are treated and how they housed (no cages, etc)
