In June 2017, President Trump announced that the U.S. would withdraw from the Paris climate accord in an effort to boost the nation’s industry and energy independence. Mr. Trump argued that the climate accord was unfair to the U.S. since the agreement imposed easier restrictions on China and India who lead the world in carbon emissions. Opponents of the climate agreement argue that it unfairly penalizes U.S. energy companies and consumers by imposing restrictions on domestic energy production. Proponents of the climate accord argue that exiting it sets back decades of diplomatic efforts by the U.S. government to reduce worldwide carbon emissions.

No, I don't think the The Paris Climate Agreement is effective enough. It's just a business deal in green clothing.
@9TGZ4N4 8mos8MO
I think we should work towards going green without shutting down energy production within our country until we reach a level where we can sustain ourselves with green energy.
@9GCN5DQ2yrs2Y
Yes because the US should be a global leader and set an example for China and India, those countries should have very specific benchmarks they need to achieve
@95MJ7MN3yrs3Y
No, however the agreement should be altered to provide harsher restriction on the highest carbon producers
@9482YBGRepublican3yrs3Y
I lack the knowledge to have a stance
@9387ZGT3yrs3Y
Yes because it's a useless climate agreement that doesn't actually do anything to improve the environment.
@92XCN9Y3yrs3Y
No, but we shouldn't be spending the most money.
@8ZYH5VN3yrs3Y
@8ZGDYR23yrs3Y
no but we should be held to a less severe ruling of it
Again it just depends on the situations within the countries
@8YV8PNYLibertarian3yrs3Y
No, They should not withdraw, but the Agreement should be made again so that everyone has proportional restrictions.
@8WYPXZYRepublican4yrs4Y
Yes, until it is renogotiated
@8VHD7F64yrs4Y
No, but we do need to hold other countries to the same restrictions that are put on the US.
@8TZ8V7R4yrs4Y
They should not be a part of the agreement in the first place.
@8TQ9WFZ4yrs4Y
Yes, until we renegotiate it
@8SZHQDP4yrs4Y
Yes, America is more effective at reducing emissions outside of the Agreement
@8SJHFQJ4yrs4Y
Yes, unless we successfully renegoiate it
@8SHQRBS4yrs4Y
No, but there needs to be many more discussions to make sure that each country is held to a standard that fits their use of energy use and is fair to every country
@8R5QPPX4yrs4Y
The Paris climate accords does nothing for us no country will actually follow through and it is a waste of tax’s and time
@8QJ6J3Q4yrs4Y
No, but require re-negotiation before we officially get back into it
I don’t fully understand the Paris climate agreement so I don’t have a strong opinion!
@8PX4F59Republican4yrs4Y
I've never really understood the whole meaning of the PCA
@8PJ3J4W4yrs4Y
No, but renegotiate it to make it more fair, and to hold other countries to the same standards
@8MM79DJ5yrs5Y
No, leave it as is but use marketing power to let everyone know that USA lead the movement with the most funding. We understand that China, Russia and India should also pay their fair share as well but did not so let the people know and educate them! But we cannot depend on them so the show must to go to set an example as this country has in the past which is why people want to immigrate here in the first place which in turn helps us innovate etc
@8LDRW6Y5yrs5Y
I don´t know enough about it.
@8JG8X2M5yrs5Y
No, we should continue to further our efforts to enforce it better.
@8HLXBNF5yrs5Y
Yes, and we should develop a better and more conservative plan.
@8HCYF4Y5yrs5Y
Yes, and the U.S. should only re-enter the Paris Climate Agreement once every country is held to a standard that is directly proportionate to their carbon emissions. The higher the emissions, the higher the restrictions, regardless of what country it is.
@8GHC7VW5yrs5Y
Yes, and we should try to develop a plan that works best for us.
@8DMFLZK5yrs5Y
No, and the Paris Climate Agreement is not nearly enough.
@8CYVFYM5yrs5Y
No, but hold other countries accountable with their funding contributions/standards and withhold some of our funding until they do.
@8CRZLF75yrs5Y
I feel we need to do as much as we can to help reduce carbon emissions and slow climate change.
@8CR2BFF5yrs5Y
Treat it more like an urgent matter that needs to be dealt with immediately.
@8CGNPQM5yrs5Y
We should strive to exceed the standards set fourth by the agreement without being held accountable to them.
@8CDHMYL5yrs5Y
I don’t really know that much about it
@97FHK9T3yrs3Y
No, and we should be taking measures to perform better than what we've agreed to.
@975L3QN3yrs3Y
Yes, but continue funding them.
@9749F3H3yrs3Y
I don't have a true opinion because I am not well educated on the situation.
@973TD7P3yrs3Y
I don't really know what it means.
@96ZH537Republican3yrs3Y
Yes, they should, but they should continue a partnership with them.
@8LYX5PX5yrs5Y
Not aware enough to give my point on this statement.
@8LDGTTN5yrs5Y
not familiar enough with this
@8FB8KKFIndependent5yrs5Y
i dont really care for politics
@8DJNZSL5yrs5Y
Yes, until every country is restricted fairly and proportionately to their carbon footprint.
