Yes, this will protect the safety and rights of police officers and citizens, and we need reform so that any tampering with the device or footage comes with a clear consequence.

Yes and they should be criminally charged if there is an unironic lapse or loss of footage. Speaking from experience, they DO delete footage to get them out of committing crimes against civilians.

 @B8Q23C9Women’s Equality from California  answered…5mos5MO

Yes, because as years go by there are more and more people dying by a officer killing them and sometimes they only listen to one side of the story.

 @9VN4Q7QWomen’s Equality from Missouri  answered…2yrs2Y

yes they should have to wear them becaues some officers are raises and if something else where to happen they could go back and look at the tape say if the officer killed someone where theres no cam or anything around they would have to take the officers word on it. for the safety of officers and citizens they should be forced to wear them

 @9SVHRZPDemocrat from Florida  answered…2yrs2Y

Yes, ALL police officers should be required to wear body cameras. And not just wear them but carry the responsibility of making sure that the cameras are on at ALL times during interaction with citizns. If an officer's body cam gets turned off or disconnected at any point, especially in a confrontation with a citizen, there should be severe consequences.

 @8S39B4HDemocrat from Florida  answered…5yrs5Y

Yes, it protects good officers, helps build evidence in criminal cases, and can assist citizens in exposing corruption. Cities should, however, adopt body-cameras WITH independent oversight to ensure they're being used properly and any misconduct captured is adequately responded to. Cities should also invest in TASER-7, which are body-cameras that AUTOMATICALLY activate whenever an officer pulls his/her gun and/or Taser.

 @zacharytaylor44Democrat from Oregon  answered…5yrs5Y

Yes, but only for police officers that have violated their department’s standards, someone’s constitutional rights, caused unnecessary violence, breaking a law, or judging someone by the color of their skin it should make the police officer that has the body camera feel obligated to make the proper decisions
