lol why would I think that? I didn't even argue for that either. There you go again attacking strawman arguments you made up yourself so you don't have to actually address any of the things people actually say. Are you afraid you couldn't defend against people's actual positions or something..?
"the government will steal from the rich and subsidize the lazy."
Are you talking about like, a UBI or something? I'm not sure what you're referring to, because you keep making up points that no one mentioned...
"You assume the government will act of noble motives..."
lol another strawman. No, I absolutely do not. I believe the only way a government can be genuinely just or beneficial is if the government IS the public. "A government" is simply the decision-making body of a society, and I would argue that the only just way for any group of people to make decisions is via direct democracy, where where all people share equal decision-making power, with no oligarchic so-called "representatives" to make decisions for us. Our current governmental system is terrible, anti-democratic, and blatantly anti-society.
THAT'S my real position, not whatever it is you keep making up...
"...which is assuming you can perfect the greedy, selfish nature..."
Again, this doesn't even make sense, nor is it anything I mentioned. What does it even mean to "perfect greed" anyway..? Not only is this another strawman, but it's also just a dumb one lol.
I would never claim to "perfect" anything, I simply advocate that we create a system that does not blatantly incentivize and encourage negative qualities such as greed or selfishness, like what capitalism does. If greed is bad (it is), then we should have a system that disincentivizes it, duh...
"By assuming that the very negative qualities you despise in the rich will not be present in the GOVERNMENT..."
lol more strawmanning. I am against ALL private interests, both economically AND politically, because I believe that all people are entitled to ownership, and a say, in their own lives and communities and workplaces.
That is where YOU are a hypocrite, as you claim to be "anti-state" because you don't think the government should take from their citizens, yet you also claim to support capitalism because you DO think bosses should take from their workers.
