How do you think having the government as the main provider of healthcare would affect your family and you?

 @9HK8TFR from Florida  answered…2yrs2Y

they must have the benefit of high-quality health care services that are effectively coordinated within a strong public health system.

 @9HK95ZYPeace and Freedom from North Carolina  answered…2yrs2Y

I think the main affect would be the fact the government can alter the prices whenever their in a bad position

 @9HK8MC6Women’s Equality from Pennsylvania  answered…2yrs2Y

I think it would be better for me, as my mother can't afford any of my billings to pay for my health care, and I have to take many medications at the age of 17. I have a job but I am not able to afford it either.

 @9HK8PNB from North Carolina  answered…2yrs2Y

I don't think the government should be involved in healthcare or that we should pay for healthcare it should be free.

If the state had a significant role in the music industry, how might that change the variety and content of the music you listen to?

 @88YT2FZ  from California  answered…2yrs2Y

Music is art, and there is much of art I don’t understand, agree with, or like. However, you cannot control someone’s artistic desires by something as cumbersome and unwieldy as “government”. Specific regulations like “no pornography in public museums” are fine, but a state can’t “take control” over art, let alone music, without smothering it.

 @9JSG47HLibertarian from Virginia  answered…2yrs2Y

It might be more localized bands or singers. The state would probably only know local artists.

 @9JSFBLM from Nevada  answered…2yrs2Y

it will show a demographics of genres but also division becausde alot of people mix up genres

 @9JSF7NV from Illinois  answered…2yrs2Y

It would be a lot less progressive since opposition of the government or any form of government could be flagged.

 @ISIDEWITHasked…2yrs2Y

How would you expect public trust to shift if the government provided all-news broadcasting?

 @9L4TPZF from Minnesota  answered…2yrs2Y

Most people already have their bias, they would only tune in when it was broadcasting a station they preferred

 @8Z5SKCG  from Alabama  disagreed…2yrs2Y

The federal government should not be allowed to dictate to us what is news and isn't. As we have seen in the last election, the federal government used their authority to censor news that could have potentially been harmful to a candidate. Also, the federal government already has several means of providing the American people, and in larger aspects the world, with public news. With such things as: C-span, NPR, Free Europe, and others. Many of these radios and tv networks fall into the heavy left leaning views, stifling the voices of conservatives. C-Span is the only non-bias news site, that is not watched or loved by anyone. People want bias news, if they didn't it wouldn't exist today. The federal government should withdraw all money from news sites, outside of C-Span, and let private industries and citizens dictate what is news.

 @9L4S6CS from Washington  answered…2yrs2Y

 @9L4SX34from Maine  answered…2yrs2Y

The public might trust it more if their news would come from the government.

 @9L4S3DW from Nevada  answered…2yrs2Y

I don't believe the general public will care much as most news outlets are already biased.

 @9JC6N6S from North Carolina  answered…2yrs2Y

 @ISIDEWITHasked…2yrs2Y

How might your future career development and opportunities be different in a state that strategically plans job growth sectors?

 @9RTFVXYfrom Colorado  answered…1yr1Y

Generally beneficial until our nation if at a point where Rhine capitalism can take over.

 @9RTKD7L from Arizona  answered…1yr1Y

The instant the state, or more appropriately the federal and national levels, have more control over the growth of jobs than the companies meant to create them will be the triumph of communism over any chance capitalism had to survive. Call it anything else you want, but at that point the people are in control in name only. Everything feared to come from capitalism will be enacted and if you thought you're earning peanuts now, wait until you earn dust.

 @9JMK8HHRepublican from California  answered…2yrs2Y

the state has more independent, or autonomous, political power, as well as more control over the economy

 @9JMJPBH from New Jersey  answered…2yrs2Y

Any central control of the economy will fail. Those in control will eventually fall prey to greed and corruption.

 @9HK86RC from Massachusetts  answered…2yrs2Y

 @9HK8K7H from Pennsylvania  answered…2yrs2Y

 @ISIDEWITHasked…2yrs2Y

Do you think it's fair for a government to choose how much professionals in various fields should earn?

 @9HV3SW8from Virgin Islands  answered…2yrs2Y

The government should stay out of a free market system. It can only do harm and butcher an autonomous system.

 @9HV3NVRRepublican from Texas  answered…2yrs2Y

No, it should be up to the employer to decide that, as long as it is within reason for them to be paid that much.

 @9HV3YKPfrom Florida  answered…2yrs2Y

I don't think that is fair, as some people have prepared more and have a better background than others, and also there could be unfair treatment to others.

 @9H33W58 from Illinois  answered…2yrs2Y

Limited. That undermines the values of freedom in our nation and the idea of the American Dream.

 @9H2XBWN from Hawaii  answered…2yrs2Y

Both. I am completely unfamiliar with this notion outside of science fiction. If this were to be enacted in reality, it would need to be opt-in, which might defeat the purpose of the concept.

Would you support a policy where the government regulates leisure activities if it meant lower costs and safer environments?

 @9KB9TJ8 from New York  answered…2yrs2Y
