Until that dispute has been settled, the US embassy in Israel should not relocate to Jerusalem as, while international doctrine states the land as Israel's, far too much dispute is occurring to deem it as an adequate center for GOVERNMENTAL reasons (i.e., embassy, Israeli/Palestinian governmental structures, etc.) Until the dispute between Israel and Gaza is resolved, and Israel and Palestine both abide by international law, it would not be a wise move.
