No

 @99SLVMFProgressive  from Virginia  agreed…6mos6MO

We have methods already that have prevented dozens of missile launches from North Korea. https://www.armscontrol.org/factsheets/un-security-council-resolutions-north-korea

 @9W85D9M from Pennsylvania  disagreed…10mos10MO

I think we should because all they do over there is threat after threat we should just wipe them off the kap

 @9GVXBDL from Kansas  disagreed…2yrs2Y

If the US attacked North Korea right now, the leader of North Korea would also be involved and therefore produce a risk for futher nuclear war.

 @9L7LDT5from Virgin Islands  agreed…1yr1Y

No, we must use every diplomatic option first

Best to do nothing because it would be worse if we escalate the situation without proof that they will attack in the first place. If we do get that proof, then we should put matters in our own hands

 @ISIDEWITHDiscuss this answer...10yrs10Y

No, we must use every diplomatic option first

 @9GZ4YDP from Virginia  agreed…2yrs2Y

The U.S and NK leaders have to talk before things get really serious, we could destroy anything. We can't let that happen, we can't let ourselves go to war.

 @9GR5FC3 from Arizona  disagreed…2yrs2Y

Military options against the North's nuclear arsenal suffer from two problems: they might not succeed, and Pyongyang has devastating retaliatory options.

 @ISIDEWITHDiscuss this answer...10yrs10Y

Yes

 @9FN4DK5  from Oklahoma  disagreed…2yrs2Y

By saying yes to military strikes against North Korea, you are risking unwanted retaliation from not only North Korea but possibly other countries who may get involved As children we learned an important lesson that applies here which is to not hit, instead use your words to come to an agreement. I do agree there are risks by standing by whilst North Korea is in possession of such a dangerous weapon, but an eye for an eye makes the world blind. There is a better solution.

 @ISIDEWITHDiscuss this answer...10yrs10Y

No, and I am not convinced that North Korea has or is capable of developing a long-range nuclear missile

 @9GVXBDL from Kansas  disagreed…2yrs2Y

The military, like ours, is capable of developing a nuclear missle, but North Korea may have the same capability as ours; and if North Korea develops those missles, we would be in threat of nuclear war

 @ISIDEWITHDiscuss this answer...10yrs10Y

Yes, we cannot risk the launch of a nuclear weapon

 @9FST5FZPeace and Freedom from Colorado  disagreed…2yrs2Y

I would say that no because nuclear warfare is way to risky to start cause of the after affects of it

 @9GZ4YDP from Virginia  disagreed…2yrs2Y

Well we shouldn't be fight each other at all, were all human beings, if one of us do something wrong, own up to it.

 @9V6CK94 from Illinois  disagreed…10mos10MO

because if we fight with north korea ww1 gone happen again and the word is cooked especially if we use nukes.

 @ISIDEWITHDiscuss this answer...8yrs8Y

No, North Korea is not an immediate threat to our country

 @9GVXBDL from Kansas  disagreed…2yrs2Y

Back at the Korean War, the US and the United Nations went to Korea to have North Korea out of their country to reduce the threat of communism, but China, another communist country came to restore the threat of nuclear war. China wants to make allies with North Korea and only make the situation even worse.

 @ISIDEWITHDiscuss this answer...10yrs10Y

No, we should let China address this issue

 @9VFY33X from Georgia  disagreed…10mos10MO

There will always be more than one country involved in foreign affairs, so we should form an alliance in which China and the U.S. work together.

 @9L7LDT5from Virgin Islands  disagreed…1yr1Y

No, we must use every diplomatic option first

China is an ally of North Korea. I doubt they would care to address this.

 @8HW6GDCRepublican from California  answered…5yrs5Y

 @3PYYHYSfrom Texas  answered…5yrs5Y

No, we need to find another diplomatic option. Once we go after North Korea, they are just waiting to drop an H Bomb on us and it will open the world to a gigantic world war that frankly, we cannot afford to lose.

 @3PZ5G5Kfrom Missouri  answered…5yrs5Y

Like Iran military strikes will be ineffective because we have dithered so long they are now extremely well protected from a military strike; we should asymmetrically attack N Korea and Iran to destroy their nuclear program(s). Cyber attack, infiltration of components that don't work, assassination of key personnel, we should do everything at our disposal to stop these people whose stated intention is to kill us for being us.

 @3PY7Y5Pfrom Missouri  answered…5yrs5Y

No, but we should use economic pressure to cause North Korea to collapse.

 @3PXRYXK from Arizona  answered…5yrs5Y

Yes, along with other nations threatened by their capabilities. We are not the sole police presence of the world.

 @3PZ2BFTfrom Kansas  answered…5yrs5Y

I think all forms of deterrence should be on the table when it comes to North Korea and their nuclear weapon capabilities.

 @3PXX3SHfrom Florida  answered…5yrs5Y

No, South Korea must be the country to take action with the full backing of the United States.

 @9RDDSGCCommunist  from Florida  answered…1yr1Y

No, North Korea has every right to have nuclear weapons; the nuclear non-proliferation treaty is imperialism designed to benefit the major powers.

 @8LQJPJH from California  answered…5yrs5Y

 @8XB8NH5 from Michigan  answered…4yrs4Y

North Korea is known for its human rights violations, nothing is done to them because they're supported by China. Go ahead and do it.

 @3PXTGB3from Colorado  answered…5yrs5Y

Yes. Then we should try Bill Clinton & Maddie Halfbright for treason after they let Kim jon il get nukes.

 @9F3JBV3Socialist from Tennessee  answered…2yrs2Y

 @9F23T88 from Texas  answered…2yrs2Y

 @9DDKPX9  from California  answered…2yrs2Y

 @997LBK4 from California  answered…2yrs2Y

No, we must not endanger our own allies in Asia by showing an act of aggression to a rouge state

 @B654BS5 from Texas  answered…1wk1W

No, North Korea retains its right to protect its sovereignty and the U.S. should encourage peace through diplomatic channels

 @B636HPP  from Texas  answered…3wks3W

No, unless we have substantial evidence and intelligence that they are using it for non-diplomatic means.

  @FlyingNinc0mp00pRepublican  from Indiana  answered…3wks3W

No, because this would trigger a war with China as well as North Korea due to the two countries' alliance treaty signed in 1961.

 @B5ZXY57Republican from North Carolina  answered…4wks4W

North Korea is not a immediate threat to us, if they were then yes, but only after using all diplomatic options.

 @B5Z99NMVeteran  from Oregon  answered…4wks4W

If there is an actual risk, yes. If not, then continue surveillance and attempt diplomatic solutions.

 @B5Z7WBVSocialist from Florida  answered…4wks4W

No, there is no real proof of WMD and who are we to strike any other country on assumptions? Why is it ok for the US to have nuclear capability? We are the only country who has actually used it as a weapon.

 @B5YHBYKRepublican from Arizona  answered…1mo1MO

Yes, but only with concrete proof that they have or are capable of developing a long-range nuclear weapon of mass destruction

 @B5Y4832Democrat from New York  answered…1mo1MO

Yes but only if they are in a postion where it is cear they would use a nuclear weapon on a western ally or the US

 @B5XYG3X from Florida  answered…1mo1MO

We should use every diplomatic option first as well as acknowledging that north Korea is not currently a direct threat to the US.

 @B5T6WQ6  from Kentucky  answered…2mos2MO

No, this risks escalation and potential retaliation. North Korea is not an immediate threat, and we should let China/the region address this issue while continuing diplomacy.

 @B5FJLRYGreen from Illinois  answered…3mos3MO

No, We have methods already that have prevented dozens of missile launches from North Korea and this may start a nuclear war.

 @B5379SL from Ohio  answered…3mos3MO

There could be all out nuclear war if we attempt to conduct nuclear strikes on them, so it’s probably best to not do that.

 @B4W6ZQ9 from Texas  answered…3mos3MO

I believe that only when North Korea strikes should we decide to converse first, and if there is not a mutual agreement, then we can plan attack.

 @B4LLLN9Independence from South Carolina  answered…4mos4MO

I do not believe that we should interfere in case North Korea decides to launch nuclear weapons before we can get to them

 @B4KWFDT from Ohio  answered…4mos4MO

No, I think they are more powerful and have more connection than we give them credit for and it could just end up biting us in the butt.

 @B46HC24 from North Carolina  answered…4mos4MO

This should be the last resort to prevent nuclear warfare. It will throw the world into chaos already.

 @B3LNMLH from Wisconsin  answered…5mos5MO

Not until North Korea makes a move that puts us at risk and those we have an agreement with for it could cause a bigger war since North Korea is

 @B3JRRRR from Virginia  answered…5mos5MO

no, dont do something silly until there's a definite need. like if we didn't send it they'd still send it.

 @B39Z3GR from Texas  answered…5mos5MO

It would be great if we could destroy their nuclear weapons but the second we send something to destroy theirs they will most likely send nuclear missiles

 @B38NXL9 from Rhode Island  answered…5mos5MO

No, this would lead to chaos and a World War, we have seen what World War 2 can do. This should only be the last resort if everything fails to diplomatically work with North Korea

  @HelcovichEmireRepublican  from Maryland  answered…5mos5MO

No, even though North Korea's government deserves to be blown off the earth, they might find out and retaliate by launching a nuclear missile at us, or their allies will

 @B36W7TSRepublican from Minnesota  answered…5mos5MO

I think that we could do that but we would likely start another was and therefore we should find another way to take away the nuclear weapons from them.

 @B36P556 from California  answered…5mos5MO

Yes, If these threats prove to start becoming real, their threats to "nuke us" or attack us (it wont work for them either way). If we see them getting ready to really attack, I say humiliate them, as a consequence for threatening us constantly. Don't dish what you cant take.

 @B35BTQ3 from California  answered…6mos6MO

The united States need to learn to mind the business that do concern them and their people, stop trying to partake in other stances with other countries It gets bad every time. If it's not bringing our people peace then YOU THE UNITED STATES SHOULD'NT HAVE A CARE!

 @B359MRDRepublican from Texas  answered…6mos6MO

No, I think we should try to use every peaceful option first but also make it known to other countries that we are our own powerhouse that should be feared.

 @B34RM5B from Virginia  answered…6mos6MO

I say instead of starting more conflict we leave it be the only time the U.S should be conducting this types of strikes is if north korea was to start a war or attack as first why hit first when we know we're stronger that's just asking to start a unneccary war, and will cause innocent civials, and military personal to lost there life, and for what reason.

 @B2XZQPS from Indiana  answered…6mos6MO

If there is any hard evidence that they plan on using the missiles to bomb the US then they should have the right to destroy before they destroy us.

 @B2R8W38Democrat from Illinois  answered…6mos6MO

Not at this time. Un knows there is a line he can cross that will result in the U.S. triad rendering his country inhospitable for many decades. As unpredictable as he is, he does not want this.

  @HelcovichEmireRepublican  from Maryland  answered…6mos6MO

No, North Korea might retaliate against us or launch a nuclear missile at us if we attack them first

 @B2PRYKWGreen from Michigan  answered…6mos6MO

I know it may be a long shot, but can't foreign issues be solved without violence? I fear if the U.S. strikes at North Korea, it may start a war that we're not ready for. I also don't think nuclear weapons should be used under any circumstance because innocent people will get hurt.

 @B2K33XN from California  answered…6mos6MO

I believe that if we do a missile strike on North Korea to stone their long range missile and nuclear capabilities, we could accidentally set off one of their nuclear weapons and cause a huge war between countries

 @B2C2FJ8 from Tennessee  answered…7mos7MO

No, conducting a military strike against North Korea is an act of war and would create a much larger war in the Pacific region

 @B2972QYWomen’s Equalityfrom Maine  answered…7mos7MO

we should discuss and continue to make amends with North Korea instead of possibly making them irate

 @B237PCNLibertarian from Texas  answered…8mos8MO

No, but it should be heavily regulated on monitored and should only be destroyed if danger is imminent

 @B22ZRXTSocialist from Ohio  answered…8mos8MO

No, unless North Korea proves itself to be a threat to the people of the United States and not just the governmental body or directly threatens to use the missiles.

 @9ZXWBN7 from Texas  answered…8mos8MO

No, we should lift all OFAC sanctions on North Korea and establish diplomatic relations to resolve conflicts peacefully

 @9ZT2ZWX from Florida  answered…8mos8MO

I believe convincing the world that it is a threat or letting China deal with it is it also a good option.

 @9ZNM29J from Minnesota  answered…9mos9MO

America is selfish only thinks about themselves never of the consequences of the people who will die if that were to happen

 @9ZJSLTT  from Rhode Island  answered…9mos9MO

Yes, North Korea should be smashed and sodomized on the world stage by the United States military and forcefully reunified with the South, the people have waited long enough.

 @9ZJ6RTT from Florida  answered…9mos9MO

No, but we must be prepared and help South Korea in case of any surprise attacks along the 38th parallel.

 @9YMQHTX from Hawaii  answered…9mos9MO

figure out what their problem is if needed to conduct military strikes then do so but figure out the problem first to see if it is a fixable matter

 @9YM392W from Missouri  answered…9mos9MO

Kim Jong Un said his military should “thoroughly annihilate” the United States and South Korea if provoked. Terrifying prospects lay on this horizon, and it feels as if any course of action for the US to neutralize this threat has a great opportunity to backfire.

 @9YFC8NHIndependent from Texas  answered…9mos9MO

I believe diplomatic strategies should be used, if they fail then we must do what is necessary to promote the safety of our country.

 @9Y8JHW6 from Wisconsin  answered…9mos9MO

I think we should allow all countries to maintain their nuclear programs to assist in the communist revolution.

 @9Y7X2VH from New York  answered…9mos9MO

We should be ready if North Korea does strike, but should we do anything as of right now when we don't even know if they have backups or a trap for us if we do strike? No. We should wait till they come to us.

 @9Y7MJN4 from Louisiana  answered…9mos9MO

If we do commit a missile strike on North Korea, we would then have to worry about China and Russia.

 @9Y7GQ4G from New York  answered…9mos9MO

I believe that they should because there was a theory that once Kim Jong Un dies, North Korea will launch their nuclear weapons in remorse

 @9Y2822H from Colorado  answered…9mos9MO

No, if western countries get to have these technologies so do others. There should be universal talks and agreements for everyone to disarm from nuclear weapons

 @9XNH4VL from New York  answered…9mos9MO

No, because North Korea is in a very dangerous dictatorship and could potentially be a threat to everyone especially if they are able to make nuclear weapons.

 @9XJ9H2B from Texas  answered…9mos9MO

No, the threat of retaliation is to high and there's no guarantee we could find and neutralize all their missile sights

 @9XFTHLTIndependent from Massachusetts  answered…9mos9MO

No, The US is not the world police. This should be up to the UN and the world governments to decide together.

 @9X6PLP4 from Georgia  answered…9mos9MO

No we should't as of right now but we shouldn't be afraid to do it if there is a sign that they will use it.

 @9X6MPPG from Tennessee  answered…9mos9MO

If we did this we would probably start a war with north Korea and we should stay docile in matters like this unless its a direct threat.

 @9WR74H9 from Missouri  answered…9mos9MO

No, I do not believe that North Korean missiles will even be able to launch or make it across the ocean

 @9WNWVQNPeace and Freedom from Illinois  answered…9mos9MO

Yes and no. I don’t want them to actually have a nuclear weapon that has that large of range and they need to be stopped if so but I also feel like China or South Korea should handle it.

 @9WNCRNW from Massachusetts  answered…9mos9MO

No, I'm pretty sure that we can take down anything they send our way. And if they do launch something then hit them back HARD.

 @9WJWJVN from Michigan  answered…9mos9MO

No, it would cause immediate escalation on the world stage and cause major upsets and conflicts with China and Russia

 @9WJPTTL  from Florida  answered…9mos9MO

No we should use diplomatic options first and find other options before using nuclear missiles that could spread to south Korea. Violence isn't always an option

 @9WCWQGS from Ohio  answered…10mos10MO

Yes, detonate there nuclear technology in their own country to destroy as much as we can while leaving little evidence we did it

 @9W3H6Z9 from Florida  answered…10mos10MO

No, just remain neutral as it is; despite tensions, their isn't a actual clash between these two countries yet and it should remain that way.

 @9W2ZQRF from Texas  answered…10mos10MO

i believe we need to have peace with all countries before it’s too late and put an end to war everywhere
