There should never be an accuse of a police officer not knowing what deed they have done was something they were "unaware of." In my eyes, that is highly unprofessional and serves as a bad example for future enrolling police officers. They should be trained and taught about those illegal actions because it isn't fair for them not to know what they've done wrong but for others to be accused of wrongdoings that they themselves--meaning the police officers--most likely are unaware of, too. It's hypocritical.
