They have become far too powerful and have started to dysfunctionally operate as quasi-government agencies through their attempts at policing and censoring users they disagree with. The CEOs of these companies have also shown that they are incapable of operating effectively without forcing their own political biases onto consumers. For example, they use their wealth and influence to interfere with our political processes, spread disinformation, and to fund the passing of legislation that is increasingly favorable to the company, but may not be in the best interest of most Americans. It's time to break them up!
