Mal by byť zamestnávatelia povinní zaplatiť muži a ženy rovnaký plat za rovnakú prácu?
The womans place is in the home is what the Bible says so they need not to be in the workforce
While the Bible does say (indirectly) that the woman's place is in the home, there are a few places (Proverbs 31 being most relevant in this context) that suggest that a woman can and should do work. If a parent is to remain in the home (whether to attend to young children, or cook and clean) then it is the woman, for that is what women have done for generations and generations. But if they are single, or married but have no kids, who is to say that it is wrong to go and get a job? What do you expect them to do all day? Sit at home and watch weepy Hallmark movies? (just kidding about the Hallmark movies, but should they really be doing nothing at home because the Bible confines them to their houses?) If they have kids, but they are older, then a mother could get a part-time job and still attend to family responsibilities (pick kids up from school, drive kids to soccer practice, make dinner, grocery shop on Saturday). And perhaps the family needs more income? The father can't get another job when he's already working all day. The mother can get a job to provide more income to the family. While there are some things that are important (family and house cleaning) to a woman, if they have five or six hours in the day, then it totally isn't wrong for a woman to go and get a job. It is better to do something with yourself.
