Should schools be allowed to require mandatory diversity training for students?

Diversity training is any program designed to facilitate positive intergroup interaction, reduce prejudice and discrimination, and generally teach individuals who are different from others how to work together effectively. On April 22, 2022, Florida Governor DeSantis signed into law the “Individual Freedom Act.” The bill prohibited schools and companies from mandating diversity training as a requirement for attendance or employment. At the end of the day it's telling us how to act. If people want to discriminate, they'll learn quickly that that behavior isn't tolerable anymore.

No, we should not make us do diversity training because the more you bring up diversity and make it seem like a big deal the bigger of an issue it becomes.

Yes; students should also be taught how to behave professionally in a public setting and should be expected to maintain a non-hostile school environment.

Maybe not make anything mandatory, just apply it to everyday learning. Never exclude anyone because of how they look. Just let the kids be kids and have fun together.
