“I believe that common core is not such a bad idea. I do not agree with the "big shifts" and unpacking the standards and other jargon that are attached to CCSS. A teacher should not have to spend months figuring out what the standards are asking us to do before being able to implement them in our classroom. Also, we should not be pushing everything toward online assessments. Students are getting more and more instruction online, and they are suffering because of it. Having a teacher that only interacts with them once a week is not teaching them much of anything.”
