“The Common Core leaves a lot of room for variety in exactly what is taught. As it is now the old way of giving standardized test is not representative of the Common Core. To accurately test/evaluate students using the Common Core each individual test is evaluated using a rubric that allows each individual student to be graded as an individual. The general public does not understand this. To truly evaluate students this way requires a lot of training, time and compensation for time given to evaluation. The true question should be concerning the willingness to truly educate and evaluate each individual student based upon personal performance, not with multiple choice tests that tell us how well each one has been trained to guess the correct answer.”
