Next, a serious discussion about violence and how that is ingrained into the American Psyche, as well as discussions about patriarchy, racism, state violence, etc. need to happen. Guns aren't necessarily the problem: violence is. Guns are the most effective tool for engaging in violence, so they must be controlled, but we must also acknowledge the state commits the most violence.”
