Proposition 1 will legalize liquor stores by allowing the sale of all alcoholic beverages for off-premise consumption only. Currently, shoppers in Tarrant County can buy beer and wine at retail stores and mixed drinks at restaurants in the city but must drive to other counties to buy liquor.  See recent Proposition Number 1 news
