Proponents of the proposition include NORML and Clark County Commissioner Chris Giunchigliani. Opponents of the proposition include Purdue Pharma (the manufacturer or OxyContin,) Abbot Laboratories (maker of the opiod Vicodi) and their Super PAC Project SAM (founded by Kevin Sabet, David Frum and Patrick Kennedy).
