Amendment 2 will allow Universities in Louisiana to set their own tuition prices without approval from the state legislature. Proponents argue that giving Universities more autonomy over tuition will help them navigate budget issues. Opponents argue that the state's Taylor Opportunity Program for Students is tied directly to tuition prices.
