Do you support a statewide single payer healthcare system (ColoradoCare?)

Amendment 69, ColoradoCare, would replace Obamacare and private insurance in Colorado with a single payer healthcare system. It would eliminate deductibles and would allow patients to choose doctors and specialists without distinguishing between those "in network" and those "out of network." The system would be financed by a 10% payroll tax levied on Colorado employers and employees. The system would launch in 2019 and cost an estimated $38 Billion per year. Opponents, including insurance companies and chambers of commerce, argue that the plan lacks specifics and the pay…  roll tax increase would make Colorado one of the highest taxed states in the country. Proponents, including Bernie Sanders, argue that current healthcare costs are driving many working class families into bankruptcy and a single payer system is the only option.
