This is insane. How can you use illegal and benefits in same sentence? Someone should not become a citizen just because they gave birth here. Mexico for sure does not allow this, and the rest of the world with exception for two other countries. This way of taxing others to pay for such expenses is insane.
Yes. Don't ask don't tell.
Gov has been a co-conspirator to illegal immigration. For years, when it was beneficial to business in this country, illegal immigration was not dealt with, and laws and penalties on the books were not enforced. Current illegals in residence should be allowed to stay if employed, and paying taxes, and actively seeking nationalization. Future illegals should be dealt with as allowed by law.
Illegal aliens or if you must "immigrants", have broken our laws of entry, and should be eligible for nothing. that said, if there is an emergency situation /or they have an infectious disease, when they arrive yes by all means let them get treated at govt expense. If they have been here over three months, they should seek private insurance like the rest of us. They have had time. If they seek govt assistance for any reason, they should be detained and turned over to ICE and deported as soon as possible. If there is an "anchor baby", new born, it goes back to the country the mother came
I don't think at this point they deserve anything from our country they get enough....even more than people born as Americans they come and take our jobs they seem to make more money than us as far as I am concerned they need to get out and go back to where they came from
Life threatening health care should be given. They should have fingerprints taken as part of the process. Then given a path to citizenship. If path is not started then next time health care is needed it will be given followed by work program to pay for previous costs. If path to citizenship is not followed a 3rd time immediate deportation and 10 year ban on citizen process.
get real - illegal is merely a Congressional whim - they could legalize them in a day if they
so chose. "My" immigrants got help from Squanto in Plymouth. We should be so mean
as to let humans suffer when we have plenty of resources to prevent it?
No but the Hippocratic oath doesn't allow for a patient to be turned away. Treat the the emergency and deport the patient afterward
Yes, If we deny basic and/or emergency health services to people residing or visiting in this country, then we are all at risk for infectious diseases, declining standards for the poor. We'll eventually end up living behind walls like in Mexico City, with barbed wire on the top to keep out the poor, needy and people who turn to crime, thievery, etc. because they have no other options. It's ridiculous that we aren't offering healthcare to all human beings - when the Koch brothers and Wall Street can rob us blind and rape our financial system --- shameful!
They should get NOTHING but a ticket back home....
We have VETERANS dying because THEY can't GET any healthcare, they're HOMELESS, and JOBLESS, but OBAMA is giving the ILLEGALS FREE DENTAL, HEALTH, MEDICAL, FREE FOOD, FREE MONEY, FREE OR SUBSIDISED HOUSING, HEATING ASSISTANCE, and whatever the hell ELSE he can think of, while OUR CITIZENS GET NOTHING.........
Social Security & disability recipients got NO INCREASE this year, most likely because OBAMA GAVE OUR MONEY TO ALL THE ILLEGALS........
THAT'S JUST WRONG!!!!!!!!
Absolutely not. Illegal Aliens are not immigrants!! They have illegally invaded my country.
@9T7Y3QNTranshumanist5 days
yes, as long as they become citizens. The same goes for all citizens
No, not until we all have access.
Yes, because colonizers took the land from indigenous people.
Yes, if they go through the process of becoming a legal citizen
Depends on how long they've lived in America but yes
I don't think so because they might be sent away BECAUSE they're illegal immigrants but that doesn't mean that they don't deserve some form of good healthcare.
I don't have enough knowledge to form an opinion on the matter.
Yes, but should be subjected to lower price but will be deported afterwards. If it is life threatening, hold them to keep alive, and then deport them.
Yes, but only for life threatening emergencies and should be deported after.
if there in america and really need it then yes but other that no
Yes, but they must pass a background check. They should also be given citizenship if applicable.
I think immigrants should get citizenship of the country they're seeking healthcare in. There's no reason to be illegally in a country.
It depends what kind of illegal immigrant they are. For some grant them citizenship then yes
Yes, if they obtain them like any other US citizen would (paid for with added tax.) If they go through the proper tests they should be granted citizenship. If not should be deported back to their country.
Children and their one immediate caregiver should always receive free treatment no matter how mild.
Yes, for anyone under the age of 18 and for life threatening emergencies. Then undergo background checks to see if they should be deported or granted citizenship.
They need to be legal to have our health care.
if they pay taxes then deport them after
Any form of healthcare that prevents using the er as a dr office will save money for us all.
No, because they are here illegally, but if they are in the process of becoming legal and are truly showing that they will be a good, law-abiding citizen, then maybe
Yes, for emergencies and small general health care (illness)
Yes, if they pay taxes and are working on becoming citizens or if they have life threatening emergencies and diseases (especially if those diseases or emergencies can endanger the health of the US Citizens around them)
Yes, only if they pay taxes, and grant the tax payers citizenship.
i say yes if they pay taxes and they should be offered a citizenship.
no, but their children if born in america should have access to medical care
Yes but they should be made a citizen and have to pay taxes
Yes, If they are from a allied country
Grant them an easier path to citizenship so this question no longer matters.
Its a tricky situation, I think it depends on background and intent, however generally speaking Id say "yes and grant citizenship"
Illegal immigrants should receive reasonable free comprehensive government funded and administered health care while being incarcerated after apprehension fir illegally crossing our borders, until they are deported or Tge incarceration ends fir some other reason such as being granted asylum.
