Yes, but only for life threatening emergencies or infectious diseases, or if they pay taxes

 @B5CSP9SWomen’s Equality from South Carolina  answered…2mos2MO

yes and no, their kids should get it along if they have any life threatening emergencys or infectious diseases.if not for any other reason.

 @B57S6QXIndependent  from South Carolina  answered…3mos3MO

Yes if it can be proven that they are fleeing in fear, for the safety of themselves or their families, and they report themselves right away. Assist them if they are looking for asylum. If they are here illegally, with no real threats to them then I believe deportation is the correct way to go until they come here the correct way

 @B572ZNP from South Carolina  answered…3mos3MO

Yes, but only for critical conditions/emergencies and make it easier for immigrants to be come citizens, that way they can later qualify for subsidies

 @B53BM6P from South Carolina  answered…3mos3MO

If they are working for someone in the U.S. and can prove they will apply for citizenship in a timely manner. If they are illegal and did not go through the legal process for citizenship, they can only use the health care for life-threatening emergencies.

 @B4835J3 from South Carolina  answered…4mos4MO

Yes, if they contribute are contributing to America and if they aren't doing any harm and living here like normal people especially if they are paying taxes.

 @B3ZVXJBPeace and Freedom from South Carolina  answered…4mos4MO

Yes, but only those who really need it, such as sick people, pregnant women, or people with disabilities.

 @B3KLNJ8 from South Carolina  answered…5mos5MO

Provide health care to Legal Foreigners. Illegal immigrants should be able to become citizens and then be able to apply for services to get a head start.

 @B3B48GS from South Carolina  answered…5mos5MO

Yes, if they have contributed to society and have a job and family then they should, however if they have a record then know

 @B39TBG8Democrat from South Carolina  answered…5mos5MO

they came to America to more than likely escape oppression or a bad situation, if they are paying taxes, haven't broken a law, and simply are just existing in America but not "legal" then protect them. America was founded on immigrants and we were made so people could come from may other countries to seek freedoms and a better life so why would we want to make it worse?

 @B2JSBKGIndependent from South Carolina  answered…6mos6MO

Illegal immigrants should not have Access to free healthcare, Once becoming a citizen they should have the right to it. If their child should be born in the United States then the child should have free healthcare

 @B24G3SBIndependent from South Carolina  answered…7mos7MO

yes, but they should be held to pay a fine for immigrating illegally and they should be deported if they have ever committed a felony or commit one in the future

 @9YJYKTB from South Carolina  answered…8mos8MO

It would depend on if they work, pay taxes, and participate in elections and other government events. If they only cause trouble and do illegal acts then no.

 @9Y8H76Z from South Carolina  answered…9mos9MO

If they are found and they are illegal immigrants they should get all the willcare and healthcare checks up but then they should be taken back to their country or have a chance to being a American citizen based on their background checks.

 @9VZNZ55Independent from South Carolina  answered…9mos9MO

I think they should register as a United States citizen before they get any benefits from our state.

 @9VWWMPS from South Carolina  answered…9mos9MO

I think they and their children should have access to life saving and emergency care and they should be able to purchase private healthcare. I DO think they should have access to medical care, just not perhaps subsidized.

 @9VQ68MK from South Carolina  answered…9mos9MO

I think that immigrants that have been here for atleast 19-20 years already should be able to get healthcare but the new people that are coming in should not.

 @9V8FSMKDemocrat from South Carolina  answered…10mos10MO

Yes, I believe they should because most immigrants leaving their country are in search of a better life and often times also do not have the means to afford healthcare. So I believe they are people just like the citizens of the United States and deserve to be treated equally as such.

 @9TYBLF3 from South Carolina  answered…10mos10MO

I believe if they have no criminal record and have been living there quietly for 5 years in the least, they should. And kids get it no matter what.

 @9T99K84 from South Carolina  answered…10mos10MO

If they are here Illegally then they have to be kicked out back, and get medical care back in their country...but if the US is willing to provide, then that works too!

 @9T7KQL2Green from South Carolina  answered…10mos10MO

I believe in all situations, if you need help you should be able to get help. Now these people are't citizens but they are still people and should be treated the same. Maybe not for like minor things but still have the resources in emergencies. I believe that there kids should have the most protection thought. They didn't choose to cross, they were just following their family.

 @9SKHQWV from South Carolina  answered…11mos11MO

As long as they pay the same as everyone else, some countries don't have access to the same healthcare

 @9S96QT4 from South Carolina  answered…11mos11MO

They should be provided with basic care, but background checks should be done and if they are a criminal they should be either imprisoned or deported.

 @9RTKBGV from South Carolina  answered…12mos12MO

Emergency care for all but subsidized care only for those registered as immigrants - though including all on parole or other recognized status

 @9RF8BKNIndependent from South Carolina  answered…12mos12MO

No, but we should allow them a chance to acquire their citizenship before attempting to deport them.

 @9MV3VCN from South Carolina  answered…1yr1Y

I believe yes they should be treated because everyone deserves to be helped but they also have to become citizens of the United States after that though and must pay taxes

 @9MBH58V from South Carolina  answered…1yr1Y

This is kind of controversial i think that immigrants should get citizenship and healhcare but i think the US needs to focus some more on getting that to Americans who are homeless the US focuses on other things that arent nessisary while they dont focus on the people

 @9LG9MF6Women’s Equality from South Carolina  answered…1yr1Y

No but if its life-critical then of course, however, they must become a citizen after and pay their fee. I believe as a person they deserve the right to healthcare however they aren't citizens. If they have children without a doubt they should have healthcare it doesn't matter if they are or not a citizen they are children.

 @9KX3D47 from South Carolina  answered…1yr1Y

Yes, if they pay taxes, has been here for years, at this point i think they should just get a citizenship. So i think if they apply for citizenship this wouldnt matter.

 @9KCHRXR from South Carolina  answered…1yr1Y

In a event of disaster grant them citizenship for a period but they must agree to work and pay taxes and bills passed to them otherwise send them back.

 @9K7DBLN from South Carolina  answered…1yr1Y

Yes, if they pay taxes but only for children and/or life threatening emergencies or infectious diseases. They should also be allowed to purchase private healthcare.

 @9JWZ4X5Progressive from South Carolina  answered…1yr1Y

If they have lived and worked in the country for two years or have a life threatening, life altering, or infectious condition

 @9HKP76W from South Carolina  answered…2yrs2Y

i think it matters on the person and if the person is a good fix for out country then yes and they should get citizenship

 @9GYGDDQ from South Carolina  answered…2yrs2Y

Absolutely not, because we are putting other people above our own people which ends in the cultural and ethnic destruction of a nation. See Yugoslavia for an example.

 @9FF4Y73 from South Carolina  answered…2yrs2Y

Offer citizenship, then grant them healthcare, but only if they become a citizen.

 @9FF3SBG from South Carolina  answered…2yrs2Y

Life threatening emergencies or infectious diseases and their kids should have access to healthcare

 @9FBSSDY from South Carolina  answered…2yrs2Y

Yes but once they are completely finished with treatment they should be sent back to where they cam from if possible and if its safe for them

 @9FBSMHY from South Carolina  answered…2yrs2Y

Yes, I feel like it does depend how bad the health issues are and if it's life threatning.

 @9F6ZD37Democrat from South Carolina  answered…2yrs2Y

 @9DSPFQJ from South Carolina  answered…2yrs2Y

No, and all illegals should be deported but not before they are given an opportunity to receive treatment for minor illnesses.

 @9DMRLL7 from South Carolina  answered…2yrs2Y

Streamline the citizenship vetting process. All those who come here wanting to better their lives, who have no serious criminal history(murder/rape/kidnapping etc) should be allowed citizenship like our ancestors.

 @9DDZ3Y8 from South Carolina  answered…2yrs2Y

 @9D8RJQ4 from South Carolina  answered…2yrs2Y

 @9BR7J8H from South Carolina  answered…2yrs2Y

yes, depending on if they are wanting to be a citizen or not, they need to be a good citizen rather than a bad citizen

 @96NTPRC from South Carolina  answered…3yrs3Y

Yes, but illegal immigrants should still go through the process of becoming a citizen afterwards

 @96NMSN7 from South Carolina  answered…3yrs3Y

No, not until they become legal citizens should they get all of the government-subsidized healthcare

 @96MXFLPRepublican from South Carolina  answered…3yrs3Y

I think they should only be allowed health care if they are citizenz and if they pay taxes

 @96LJ3SS from South Carolina  answered…3yrs3Y

 @96LGP9VDemocrat from South Carolina  answered…3yrs3Y

Yes, bottom line they are a human being, and even if they do not legally live in the U.S. no person should be refused treatment simply because they were not born on U.S. soil

 @96CTFVC from South Carolina  answered…3yrs3Y

I feel like I don't really have say so because everyone's situation is different.

 @95Z7WY7 from South Carolina  answered…3yrs3Y

yes, but as long that they don't have a bad criminal record, such as, contains illegal drugs and stuff like that.

 @95SRFM7Independent from South Carolina  answered…3yrs3Y

 @95PQXPC from South Carolina  answered…3yrs3Y

If they are doing things to better themselves then yes but if they are staying home and not working then no

 @959M377Progressive from South Carolina  answered…3yrs3Y

 @94QKKCVDemocrat from South Carolina  answered…3yrs3Y

Yes but within limits of service delivery - mostly urgent care and emergencies

 @94GXDFJRepublican from South Carolina  answered…3yrs3Y

 @94B9N3Q from South Carolina  answered…3yrs3Y

Yes, but only for life threatening emergencies or infectious diseases and the children should be able to have healthcare no questions asked because they have no choice on where they are from.

 @94B2CQ6 from South Carolina  answered…3yrs3Y

 @93NNBS9Independent from South Carolina  answered…3yrs3Y

Only in limited amounts, if they pay taxes, and then they should be processed for citizenship, or deportation depending on if they are violent or unproductive.

 @92FSTLYPeace and Freedom from South Carolina  answered…3yrs3Y

I feel that they should have healthcare, just because they are probably trying to help their family by sneaking to the U.S.

 @927DS9V from South Carolina  answered…3yrs3Y

Yes, if they are not breaking the law otherwise, and are trying to gain citizenship status.

 @924HWZY from South Carolina  answered…3yrs3Y

 @924738T from South Carolina  answered…3yrs3Y

yes and grant them citizenship but they also have to pat taxes like everyone else

 @923HC3XRepublican from South Carolina  answered…3yrs3Y

Yes but if and only if they complete the correct courses to becoming a legal United States citizen.

 @9222W29 from South Carolina  answered…3yrs3Y

 @8ZYLNH7 from South Carolina  answered…3yrs3Y

It depends because some immigrants do not know they are illegal or anything so I say yes or no it just depends

 @8ZXN2X4 from South Carolina  answered…3yrs3Y

Yes, and they should be able to get right if they pay taxes and been living in the united states over 5 years.

 @8ZTLHRY from South Carolina  answered…3yrs3Y

No but they should be allowed to purchase depending on how serious and their children should be allowed to

 @8ZLV93V from South Carolina  answered…3yrs3Y

yes, if we create an easier way to stay in the u.s. if you have no criminal background and are looking for a better life.

 @8ZH2ZZY from South Carolina  answered…3yrs3Y

 @8ZF79BG from South Carolina  answered…3yrs3Y

not until they become a citizen, but they should be able to buy healthcare privately

 @8Z3G4DM from South Carolina  answered…3yrs3Y

 @8YXWV3B from South Carolina  answered…3yrs3Y

 @8YVL4WT from South Carolina  answered…3yrs3Y

No, this is another example of the infesting corruption within our nation. Working individuals that are legal residents are currently drowning in debt from our healthcare system, even as far as being unable to receive proper healthcare do to overwhelming hinder of current cost of said healthcare. While illegal citizens and underclass residents living off the welfare system have full access free, government provided healthcare.

 @8YSKJZM from South Carolina  answered…3yrs3Y

If they grant citizenship and pay taxes and or for life threatening emergencies or infectious diseases, then yes.

 @8YMMBMPAmerican from South Carolina  answered…3yrs3Y

 @8YM9243 from South Carolina  answered…3yrs3Y

Yes, but they should have to face the consequences of their illegal immigration afterwards and the government shouldn't subsidize healthcare.

 @8Y6MRZD from South Carolina  answered…4yrs4Y

No, they are ILLEGAL immigrants. On our soil *illegally*. Nothing wrong at all with coming to the United States and there is no room for racism or discrimination in this nation. However, there is a process to go through in which these people can come to our country legally. Why should taxpayers who work hard for their money be forced to cover the expenses for illegal immigrants? Again… illegal.

 @8Y66MD7 from South Carolina  answered…4yrs4Y

 @8Y4Z2V9 from South Carolina  answered…4yrs4Y

No, however, all illegal immigrants should be given a chance at citizenship

 @8XY5T8W from South Carolina  answered…4yrs4Y

All humans have the right to healthcare but I believe this person should become documented and work - pay taxes if able

 @8XRV9JQ from South Carolina  answered…4yrs4Y

Yes, but they need to be working towards citizenship or going back to home.

 @8XQWTLP from South Carolina  answered…4yrs4Y

If they have an evident reason for retreating to America, then they should recieve help.

 @8XQ3DZ2 from South Carolina  answered…4yrs4Y

yes and no but everyone deserves a fair chance at having healthcare privileges but before they should defientley get citizenship.

 @8XM2RL2 from South Carolina  answered…4yrs4Y

They aren't an official citizen, but were they to show proof that they were trying to become legal, then it can be provided.
