It's a complicated issue to say yes would mean that no would be wrong but to say no would mean that yes would be wrong to. I think everyday illegal immigrants die from something that could've been prevented if they just went to a hospital but they risk being deporting back to a country that they fled from for a reason but at the same time while in the us they should apply for citizenship so yes they should have access to the point of feeling safe and not risk being deported

 @B3BY8Y9 from Minnesota  answered…5mos5MO

I believe it depends on the person, some come in to kill, but those who want a life and be able to live in good conditions soIn my opinion it depends on who they are and their purpose.

 @B2ZZPXC from Minnesota  answered…5mos5MO

If your an illegal immigrate that is injured or sick, they should only be giving the medical aid as long as they are able to pay for it, but after they are treated, they must be sent back or they can do the classes to become a legal citizen.

 @B2CJWW5 from Minnesota  answered…6mos6MO

I believe many immigrants struggle without the help of their health. Therefore, creating an Immigration Healthcare program won't just make them more comfortable to seek health but also create a federal tax on immigrants just like any other human. They are humans, they're people. Healthcare is a human right that should be given to everyone in any country in the world.

 @9ZLPBFV from Minnesota  answered…8mos8MO

Yes, but I belive that we should help them become a citizen and only if its serious enough where it can't be treated at home

 @9X7FCVJ from Minnesota  answered…9mos9MO

Immigrants still do a lot to help this economy. Most aren't citizens due to insufficient money, but they still help the workforce. Therefore, I believe illegal immigrants should be allowed health care.

 @9TV984CRepublican from Minnesota  answered…10mos10MO

if they do everything like a real citizen like paying tax and all that stuff then yeah but the ones that are here to cause trouble and do non of that then NO.

 @9T82ZWF from Minnesota  answered…10mos10MO

Their children should for sure. If they pay taxes yes. Otherwise if its life threatening or an infectious disease but they shouldn't be deported after either

 @9NBKD6Q from Minnesota  answered…1yr1Y

Yes, they should have rights to healthcare and we can put some money towards camps or shelters they can stay in while being processed. It's good to remember they are people too.

 @9GB4R33 from Minnesota  answered…2yrs2Y

yes, if they are capable of paying in some way and them being illegal should be reported. Give them time to heal and set out to either leave or get citizenship

  @novasaizah  from Minnesota  answered…2yrs2Y

Yes, we should help these people when they need it. It will also improve country relations as well, but we have to be very careful of newer diseases that have recently popped up. If a person has a newer disease, then I wouldn't take this risk.

 @96JX7B4 from Minnesota  answered…3yrs3Y

I believe everyone human is subject to equal, not fair healthcare. Equal treatment, and cost.

 @965L9SH from Minnesota  answered…3yrs3Y

Yes, They should if they have lived in the U.S. for 7 yrs and have become a citizen of the U.S.

 @937F74S from Minnesota  answered…3yrs3Y

If they have a good background and history then I think yes they should.

 @92RKQFY from Minnesota  answered…3yrs3Y

 @8ZHN46X from Minnesota  answered…3yrs3Y

I think that they should be able to get the health care but only if they pay for it Like everyone else.

 @8Z9JBF6 from Minnesota  answered…3yrs3Y

 @8Y864HJ from Minnesota  answered…4yrs4Y

Yes if very sick and they have a small co -pay and children under 18 have full coverage no cost

 @Amethyst1641 from Minnesota  answered…4yrs4Y

Yes, and should be given opportunities to undergo naturalization after treatment or risk deportation

 @8XBVKHK from Minnesota  answered…4yrs4Y

 @8WKRM3C from Minnesota  answered…4yrs4Y

Pending on what country there coming from they should get deported after treatment

 @8W8Z59NPeace and Freedom from Minnesota  answered…4yrs4Y

We should give them the care that they need but also make them register as a citizen afterwards.

 @8T42ZLLRepublican from Minnesota  answered…4yrs4Y

I feel like if they have a good reason to give them healthcare ship then, Yes.

 @8T3Z4CQPeace and Freedom from Minnesota  answered…4yrs4Y

Yes, the U.S has better healthcare than many other countries so immigrants should also have access to it.

 @8S3H7KR from Minnesota  answered…4yrs4Y

The immigration system also needs to be overhauled. We have the space, ability, and economic security to accept all immigrants at our borders. Sure, they may be living in underdeveloped or less desirable locations, but we have the space for them. Once they prove that they can meaningfully contribute to society, they should receive the benefits of that society.

No, the only way in which government should subsidize healthcare is by opening a health saving account to all US citizens, and then depositing say $300 into it every month. Then as I said elsewhere use the interstate commerce clause of the Constitution to allow insurance across state lines to let people decide what type of insurance to buy.

 @8RQJRTC from Minnesota  answered…4yrs4Y

No, government should not subsidize any health care, or anything else. What government can do is to set the markets free. And give every adult citizen a minimum basic income and all citizens a health savings account.

 @8RP8P6F from Minnesota  answered…4yrs4Y

No, government does not have the constitutional authority to fund or regulate health care. If you want the government to have that authority then propose a constitutional amendment giving the government that authority and that to get it ratified.

 @8RJ7N9B from Minnesota  answered…4yrs4Y

Most laws making it illegal to immigrate should be stricken from the law books. Then employers who hire them should pay high enough of a pay so they can buy health insurance on the free market.

 @8RH9XD4 from Minnesota  answered…4yrs4Y

no one should have access to government subsidized healthcare. The federal government has no constitutional authority to deal with healthcare or insurance. Government's involvement in healthcare and medicine actually drives up prices.

Children and if they have infectious diseases or in life threatining situations

 @8PBLL8J from Minnesota  answered…5yrs5Y

 @8P6DT85 from Minnesota  answered…5yrs5Y

 @8N56C2Z from Minnesota  answered…5yrs5Y

Only if it is life threatening or contagious and their children should have access.

 @8M8SKBD from Minnesota  answered…5yrs5Y

 @8M5SMXKWomen’s Equality from Minnesota  answered…5yrs5Y

no becuase that raises the price of health care but i also feel bad because they have no where to go

 @8LZD2V8 from Minnesota  answered…5yrs5Y

Not if they are illegal immigrants, but there should be an easier way for them to become legal immigrants.

 @8JC3W8D from Minnesota  answered…5yrs5Y

No, absolutely not. Healthcare is a right for a legal citizen, not a gift. Encourage becoming a legal citizen.

 @8DPNS4ZAmerican from Minnesota  answered…5yrs5Y

 @8CHRCFJ from Minnesota  answered…5yrs5Y

 @9CCBRPB from Minnesota  answered…2yrs2Y

Yes, if it is a life threatening issue or if they are in the legal process of becoming a citizen of our country.

 @9C837TT from Minnesota  answered…2yrs2Y

I think if someone comes over illegally then they should have to pay for their health care/most of it and should try to become a legal citizen of the US. If they have children and their children need medical attention then I think yes.

 @9C5HWS9 from Minnesota  answered…2yrs2Y

 @9BS6KM5Democrat from Minnesota  answered…2yrs2Y

 @9BFBQ7P from Minnesota  answered…2yrs2Y

First I think they should become a citizen, then they should be able to get health care. But if they need health care right away, then help them.

 @99H78NS from Minnesota  answered…2yrs2Y

If they are able to obtain citizenship, they should have access to government-subsidized heathcare.

 @98YPK97 from Minnesota  answered…2yrs2Y

Yes, but only for emergencies and they should be deported after healthy

 @97PP2T8 from Minnesota  answered…3yrs3Y

 @97K7L8B from Minnesota  answered…3yrs3Y

if illegal immigrants are working and paying taxes, they should have access as any other individual paying taxes.
the question is what is their status if they are paying taxes and still in an illegal immigrant status?
assisting better in obtaining documentation and why they are looking for US status, or other immigrant status availability, even if for short periods of approval for renewals.

 @9794TMN from Minnesota  answered…3yrs3Y

Yes they are a human being they desverd to be treated like an other human

 @978RGF3 from Minnesota  answered…3yrs3Y

I believe they should get medical treatment but then should have a chance for citizenship.

 @8R3P5JN from Minnesota  answered…4yrs4Y

 @8LLQWMH from Minnesota  answered…5yrs5Y

Yes, but only if it is life threatening emergencies or infectious diseases then be deported and all else be deported

 @8FVGGVD from Minnesota  answered…5yrs5Y

We need to improve and speed up the process to become legal immigrants. We also need to make immigrants that were brought here as children, work here, pay taxes and obey our laws citizens.

 @8DP8CBB from Minnesota  answered…5yrs5Y

Yes, but it depends on who they are and if they have any connections to terrorists

 @9F44X74 from Minnesota  answered…2yrs2Y

To be honest that is a hard decision. Maybe if they were close to getting their citizenship and are not involved in any illegal activities then they should have access.

 @9VXN73J from Minnesota  answered…9mos9MO

I believe they should be able to have healthcare for their own self-care and I do believe that they should be able to be taken care of as well, but the United States needs to care for their own people too. There are lots of people dying as well.

 @96G649C from Minnesota  answered…3yrs3Y

 @8RZRYGSLibertarian from Minnesota  answered…4yrs4Y

No, the only way in which government should be envolved in healthcare is by opening a health saving account to all US citizens, and then depositing say $300 into it every month. Then as I said elsewhere use the interstate commerce clause of the Constitution to allow insurance across state lines to let people decide what type of insurance to buy.

 @8RZ94JPIndependence from Minnesota  answered…4yrs4Y

This country has been built off of immigration. Other than natives, everyone is, or is a decedent of an immigrant. On top of that we did take Mexico's land over 150 years ago, so we don't have too much of a good reason discriminate. But at the same time American citizens often can't afford or have access to this healthcare. The system needs to be completely reworked so that everyone has the opportunity to receive healthcare.

 @8RMG5LB from Minnesota  answered…4yrs4Y

No, the federal government has no constitutional authority to regulate or subsidize health care.

 @8RL7MDR from Minnesota  answered…4yrs4Y

No, the only government subsidy should be a health savings account to every US citizen. Then it should let citizens decide what sort of health insurance they will buy in a free market.

 @8RKDFWP from Minnesota  answered…4yrs4Y

No, the government should never subsidize healthcare but they should be allowed to purchase private healthcare
