No, neither they nor their parents are "subject to the jurisdiction" of the US under the 14th Amendment

 @B5TJNKZ from Maryland  answered…1mo1MO

Instead, they should apply for citizenship, and impeach Trump for deporting law-abiding "birthright" immigrants

 @B45Y2S9 from Maryland  answered…4mos4MO

Yes, but it should not grant parental citizenship, and as long as they perform 4 years of military service

  @HelcovichEmireRepublican  from Maryland  answered…6mos6MO

No, all illegal immigrants and their children should not be given constitutional rights and other privileges citizens have, and they should not get any government aid or free services at all

 @B2FCBHN from Maryland  answered…6mos6MO

Yes but the parents should be deported and given the option to either put their child in fostercare or take them back with them.

 @9XJWS3J from Maryland  answered…9mos9MO

they will be granted legal citizenship after a couple hours of community survice and living her for more then 10 years

 @9WK8J5L from Maryland  answered…9mos9MO

Yes, given parents have been resident for a short period of time (10 months) & can confirm they are seeking citizenship.

 @9V5Y6L7 from Maryland  answered…10mos10MO

Only if the immigrant is married to a citizen. The children should also be required to apply for citizenship and at least strongly encouraged to serve in the military or serve the community through some kind of volunteer or public service

 @mathyujunior  from Maryland  answered…12mos12MO

Yes, if they are born here and their parents should either apply for citizenship or be given citizenship after 5-10 years of active military service.

 @9K7RHMP from Maryland  answered…1yr1Y

If they were born in the United States or territories then yes, but there should be some sort of process that ensures that they and their parents came in good faith.

 @9JP9LWY from Maryland  answered…1yr1Y

Yes, if they have never known another home, Yes if their parents are becoming citizens, Yes if they are becoming citizens, Yes if they have served the country.

 @9J8MZ63 from Maryland  answered…1yr1Y

Adapt more of US’ policy - if American parents have a baby in France, said baby also has American citizenship.

 @9J8FCYGIndependent from Maryland  answered…1yr1Y

Yes, but they must be tax paying and productive members of society. They are subject to deportation if they commit a violent crime.

 @9HZS5GMDemocrat from Maryland  answered…2yrs2Y

Once they turn 18, they can take a citizen test in high school for graduation. If born here, you are a citizen. Parents should have to take a class and apply for a citizen test, passing a background check and a health exam.

 @9HVYTCX from Maryland  answered…2yrs2Y

The immigration process needs reforms to make legal immigration easier so it can actually be enforced fairly.

 @9HLQ27X from Maryland  answered…2yrs2Y

If they were born in the country or graduated from a college and or/performing for the military service.

 @9G2CFMY from Maryland  answered…2yrs2Y

Yes, but it depends on the age, as the older kids could be involved in criminal activity, maybe because the father/mother could be involved, whereas the younger kids who don't even know their ABCs of even their own language have a chance at being great Americans.

They should apply for citizenship but all people applying for citizenship should have an easy access to it because it takes a long time to become a citizen so the government should make it easier to become a citizen.

Give the family and children choices, make the children citizens if they were born there, but don't forcibly take them away from their parents.

 @8L4BSH4 from Maryland  answered…5yrs5Y

Parents should not be granted citizenship but if the child is born here they should be granted citizenship.

 @8GN9NKPLibertarian from Maryland  answered…5yrs5Y

 @9C98GMQ from Maryland  answered…2yrs2Y

 @8JM9W88 from Maryland  answered…5yrs5Y

 @8YVMXX9 from Maryland  answered…3yrs3Y

Yes and No, a clear pathway must be defined. We need to change the way we look at immigration. Let's be the best by having the best. Let's be competitive and not hold back a free flowing exchange of ideas. Immigration by arbitrary means such as this defeats the purpose of what most Americans intend but only after performing 4 years of military service or graduating college and it should not grant their parents citizenship if they were born here and they must formally apply like every other new citizen and all illegal immigrants should be deported

 @8LG9WPJIndependent from Maryland  answered…5yrs5Y

Yes, maybe temporary status to give the parents time to apply for citizenship legally. If they do not do what is needed for citizenship, then the whole family needs to be deported.

 @9HX2H6Z from Maryland  answered…2yrs2Y

Yes because their children have nothing to do with their parents being illegal they should not have to suffer from parents.

 @8ZPL6LM from Maryland  answered…3yrs3Y

to get citizenship they have to be able to repeat the entire script to "Me Myself and Irene"
